"Senior Robin~ I am a Tier 1 Deathian, not Tier 2, please don't flatter me~"

The receptionist who introduced herself as 'Robin' had already smoked her sixth cigarette as Taisha stared at Robin with a bright smile.

"I just came to check if you're a fellow Deathian and not some other Ancient City's freak."

Robin did not speak anymore and stood up to leave Taisha's shitty room. Taisha, like a curious cat, followed behind.

"Where are you going, Senior Robin? Are there more like us here~?"

Robin stopped walking as she turned back to face Taisha, she had a cold expression on her face, as she threw a paper from her back pocket towards Taisha. 

"If you're so interested to meet the others, you must also be interested in doing the mission together."

"Thank you for the invitation, I will definitely come!" Taisha said with a bright smile that fit perfectly on her innocent, childish face.

Robin was amazed that a child from Ancient City could still have such an innocent smile, and deep down, she also felt pity for the little girl, it was very common to die before you can even reach Tier 3.

Eventually, Robin started talking, but she spoke in a somewhat more gentle tone than before: "Go to Room 205, it's on the second floor."

Taisha thanked Robin 'happily' as Robin handed her the keys, Robin didn't say anything else when she left her room.

Taisha now with a book, a dagger and a scissor under her shabby shirt headed upstairs while checking the surroundings carefully.

She could see the people staring at her with an odd look. All kinds of gangsters, prostitutes and drug dealers could be seen here. 

Some lived by making themselves home under broken tables while others simply slept on the floor. Taisha walked faster towards the end of the corridor where the stairs to the second floor were located.

When the people noticed Taisha heading to the second floor, they chose not to approach her. 

The basement was the area where drug tests took place and 80% of the people staying there died. The first floor was the area of the gangsters and prostitutes and the second floor symbolised wealthy people 'hiding' from their enemies.

Taisha finally reached the second floor arriving in front of Room 205.

It was around 10 AM when Taisha woke up, the sun brightly lit her room through the window. Taisha didn't immediately leave for downstairs but decided to open her 'book'. 

The empty book's pages automatically filled with texts in Taisha's hand when she touched it. She was satisfied with this feature, even if the book was stolen nobody could know what her mission was.

Taisha decided to read the latest mission given by 'Ancient City'.

Mission 2: Assist the Predators.

Difficulty: Hard. 

Mission Explanation: 'Robin' a Tier 5 Predator has created a Team called 'Death Cooperation' with other Taskers and Predators and has invited you to join their 'main mission'. 

Tip: Only two Agents can be present in this world.

Fake mission: Become a subordinate to an Agent. (The Predators aren't allowed to disclose their missions.)

Real mission: Kill an Agent. (Being a Agent, you've access to their real mission.)

Agent's Mission: Use any strategies to assist the Predators to kill an 'Agent.'

Mission duration: 2 days.

Mission Rewards: A five-metre radius drone called 'Predator finder'.

Taisha took off her shabby shirt and changed into the clothes that the room provided her with. 

She also decided to wear men's clothing instead of women's. In this era, poor women had no power and were rather subject of abuse. For now, she had to act like a man.

She took out her dagger from under the pillow. The dagger was a bit different from before, the handle had turned black to slightly dark red now.

Other than changing colours and being sharp. It had no other characteristic different than that of a knife. She can use this dagger now, but it really needs to be sold after leaving this world.

Taisha moved downstairs with vigilance, as she stepped off the last stair, some men and women conversing and laughing came into her sight.

One of the women unexpectedly turned and walked toward her with a very satisfied expression on her face. But her eyes were sharp, she could feel the woman scanning every inch of her.

"Midori! What a sleepy head, come on! Come and chat with us~!"

This kind of familiar attitude from this random lady made Taisha feel nervous and confused at the same time looking at the loud alarms in her ear.

This woman must be familiar with Robin with the way she spoke, it showed that she and Robin were more than just acquaintances, maybe friends.

This made the situation difficult. Taisha needed to think of something before they thought of her as a weak anomaly.

Taisha's voice was very sweet and ambiguous. She decided to be a 'sweet little younger sister'. A role that makes her optimistic and harmless at the same time.
