Turning the Tides

<p>Both of us struck as fast as we could with our weapons towards this behemoth of a man. His Mirror AI Ultimate has a sixty second cooldown, that much I know, so it'll be a while before he gets that back. We need to kill him before it comes back. Reaching this Knight our weapons do hit against him, but are both equally blocked in the front and the back. <br/><br/>We both got blocked, huh. Alright. He swings his greatsword sparking with electricity upwards against me and it strikes hard. I would've been sliced in half if it wasn't for my Flare that is up. I go flying, but he moves and reaches above me right as the Flare fades and goes on Cooldown. Shit. There goes 10% of my health. <br/><br/>"Aura Fire Strike!" I yell. Aura materializes above him and strikes down a sword made of fire, but after he strikes me to the ground. <br/><br/>Take that, Knight. 30% coming your way! Slamming against the ground, my health drops down by 15%. We stand back up quickly and Yuuzuko flies in and attacks the Knight hitting against his side, sending him back a few feet. The amount of damage we did to him was--ONLY 15%?! Lightning flies out and passes by Yuuzuko, splitting into many lightning bolts as it hits the grass, then a broken piece of the wall.<br/><br/>Yuuzuko dogdes as it comes back, but the Knight comes in and I take my initiative. Going in for another strike. The knight strikes and another sword appears from behind him and attacks us both at the same time. Yuuzuko blocks as I Flare again. Shit, he's stalling! <br/><br/>Four more heavy bullet shots come from a distance, one of them coming from Mom as she ducks behind the tree with her deagle. All of them strike the Knight. This time he took them? What made him panic last time? Either way, his Ultimate should be off cooldown soon. His health is at 85%, this Mirror AI is putting in some work. Sucks we can't destroy AIs, they only disappear when the player does.<br/><br/>The school continues to crumble from explosion after explosion. The fourth masked clown must be having the time of their life. I wonder how Aoi is doing, we'll probably need her here soon. Also looks like the Burn from Aura's flame strike didn't take effect. Gonna have to try again. The best way to make him lose health is from status effect damage.<br/><br/>"Yuuzuko, lets try to get him paralyzed. If he uses his Ultimate, use reaper's scythe. See if that works for us. There must be something reaper can take away. " I say through private communication.<br/><br/>"You got it! I was planning on using Garden of Bones sooner, but there wasn't a good time. His lightning element is tough to time."<br/><br/>"May I suggest leaving that to me?" Reaper interjects, splitting off from Yuuzuko.<br/><br/>Aura flies in next to me, "Yeah, we can talk to you guys too ya' know!" <br/><br/>I need to get her to her third stage. I back off a bit as Yuuzuko and Mom continue their torrent of attacks, "How much longer do you need to get to Stage 3, Aura?"<br/><br/>"Ten more percent, Kazu!" She yells. Her body jittering and jumping with a bright smile to her face. "Then I can really do some damage!" <br/><br/>Looking back at where we entered, Aoi still hasn't shown up yet. I know she's the impatient type. Maybe I should go check in on her. Oh wait! The battle cube is still up, even if I or my allies die we'll respawn near it. <br/><br/>"Go help Yuuzuko, I'll be right back. Maybe we can get a Double kill!" I say. Can't help it. If I'm gonna defend this country as the sole Elemental Defender I gotta pull stuff like this. <br/><br/>"Ooo! Sounds like a good idea! I can't wait to see what new updates are in store for my last stage! Besides, the Assassin might be easier to deal with. Go get 'em!" <br/><br/>We split and I Speed Four towards Aoi. Hazaki isn't gonna see what's coming. I'll finally be able to hit something. Running through the school I Stealth V which makes me very invisible, practically untraceable unless someone as Trace V. Which I hope as all hell, Hazaki doesn't have.<br/><br/>The school in the front is completely decimated. Glass and debris everywhere as the last few bombs get dropped down from the robots. The last of which gets shot down by a Gunslinger with Shadow as his element. The bullet practically comes out of nowhere, it'll be almost impossible to dodge without some sort of shield or reflection abi--That's it! <br/><br/>"Yuuzuko, I'm switching targets. Going after the Assassin, might be an easier job. Got that, Aoi?" I say.<br/><br/>"Understood." Reaper replies. "I'll rely the message to Yuuzuko, he's busy right now."<br/><br/>"Got it! Yeah, I'll need the distraction to finish this woman off." Aoi says. "She's practically twenty off!" <br/><br/>A pillar of light falls down from the sky just behind the stairway leading down from the shrine where the school is. That isn't good. We need to hurry up and kill these clowns off. That's a light user at the very least. A loud boom is heard and a strong shockwave comes over and blows us back a little. <br/><br/>I reach the location where Aoi is. Her health is rising up slowly but its only at around 25%. The Assassin's health is climbing back up. Thirty. Fourty. I speed in and use Cause Flame. My daggers flicker with flame once again, this will take her health down enough for Aoi to kill her with her Ice Missiles. <br/><br/>"What's her ultimate cooldown?" I ask.<br/><br/>"She used it fourty-five seconds ago and she JUST used her active. Kill her already, I don't think I'll be able to win against her, especially with her Life AI." <br/><br/>Hazaki runs in and hits her scythes against Aoi's Shield, "I can go like this all day you know."<br/><br/>"Alright, I'll send her your way. Use your missiles."<br/><br/>"I'll heal you up, once this is over." <br/><br/>Aoi tries to catch her breath, "I don't know. Might not be that way for too long, I'm starting to get the hang of things." She knocks her bow again and shoots out her Ice Missiles. <br/><br/>"This again?" Hazaki sighs and moves out of the way. "I'm telling you its not--"<br/><br/>I fly up and slash her with my daggers dealing 30% of damage thanks to my AI's passive--giving me 10% extra damage plus 5% per stage if I'm a Fire Elementalist along with Aura being an AI of Fire. I kick her back down into the range of the missiles. Hazaki falls and accepts her loss. <br/><br/>She's silent throughout the time before getting blasted by the missiles of frozen ice. Her health bar reaches zero and she digitizes out of the area. Any blood shed in battle disappearing along with her, "Have fun at respawn!" <br/><br/>Experience is given to us and our AI's meaning Aura and SuSu can finally reach their last stage. Now we have a chance against that Knight! <br/><br/>Aura heals places a Water Halo on herself and a Liquid Barrier on me. Glad to have our support back. We follow up with Yuuzuko and Yoshiko as I see the Knight's health still at only 85% while Yuuzuko and my mother are at 40% of their health. Wait, Mom has a health bar? But she's not a player. <br/><br/>"Kazuki! Your mom is a boss! She's number 4 on the boss list!" Yuuzuko yells, blocking an attack from the Knight. <br/><br/>Then the contract appears for all of us with new terms and rules stating, "DEFECTION! So it seems you are planning to save the government bosses. Exhilerating! There are other types of bosses in this update, but they are tougher. The top 10 in the game are in this update. Defeat them you get their items and same experience as the Government Bosses! Beware, you still die in real life if you're killed outside the game.<br/><br/>Accept?"<br/><br/>My blood bubbles, spine tingles, getting antsy reading this. This sounds so much more fun! "Hey Yuuzuko! Want to defeat the Top 10 strongest players in Elements?"<br/><br/>Yuuzuko dual strikes the Knight back and even he looks motivated and presses accept before dodging another attack, "Hell yeah! Sounds like a better deal to me! I'm going for the top now!"<br/><br/>"How about you Aoi? You'll have a higher chance earning favor with the guild!" I ask.<br/><br/>She immediately presses the accept button, "Oh definitely!" <br/><br/>I press accept. Guess we're going to defect! Now let's take out that Knight before the other two come.</p>
