The trio stayed alert, hoping to get enough time to recover their expended Water Qi. Sometime later, all three of them managed to make a full recovery, but there wasn't an attack. Numerous Naipa scuttled around them, but not one got within the range of their attacks.
And, afraid to water any Water Qi, they remained conservative, unwilling to launch any attacks first. But as time passed, they began to frown, noticing that something was indeed amiss.
