Cave of Latent Demon

Cave of Latent Demons is an elite training ground for young disciples of the Cult of Heavenly Demon. Inside the kid's mind, thousand of memories were pouring in like a river, causing the kid to struggle in pain.

Fortunately, it didn't last long as it stopped within a minute.

Sweat trickled down from his head.

But contrary to the pain he have just experienced the kid grinned madly and laughed to himself.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!"

He laughed like a maniac, the feeling right now was pure happiness making him look like a fool.

He was now in the world of martial arts.

A dream he have dearly wished for was fulfilled.

My name is Ryu Hanma and my labeled name is No. 68 one of the 100 most talented in this cave.

HI have been here for 6 months now, every day I would go through hard training that killed many kids here in the cave.

In this cave there was a ranking from 1 to 900, and he was labeled as No.68, the number of this dictates our rank and talent, from 1 being the most talented to number 900 being the worse.

But there is an exception. like No.17 or No.109.

They are in that number but their talent is above even in those in top ten especially No.17 she was Chun Ah Young the Heavenly Demon's daughter. She maybe be labeled at 17th but her talent is equal if not more than No.1.

Anyway I am labeled as No.68

I walked out of it and headed down and followed the beat of the drum and when I arrived at the assembly place, there were already many students there.

There was a stone platform where two demonic instructors were standing looking at arriving students who were still sleepy and drowsy. Makes sense as they just suddenly called us out in the middle of the night, but it seems that few students showed a lack of drowsiness meaning they were training in their room when they announce the assembly.

and when all the students arrived one of the Demonic Instructors stepped forward and spoke with a loud voice.

Using a sound art his voice traveled throughout the entire area reaching everyone's ear.

"I hope you all have rested well."

and with a short interval he continued.

"Today the intensity of your training will increase"

You can see the confusion among the students but the minority of them were calm.

Many Demonic Instructor then stepped forward carrying a huge heavy brown sack, they then brought down the bags they were carrying landing it rather roughly on the ground.

*CLANK*

And upon hitting the ground it clank in heaviness, inside the bags was Metal Bracers.

And when all the Demonic Instructor was able to unpack the bags, the one in the stone platform who previously spoke, spoke again.

"Each of these metal bracers weigh 7.5 kl (16.5 lbs)"

"Each of you will come forward and take these, 4 per person and starting today you will have to live with these bracers on your arms and legs"
