Chapter 23:

After making sure that everything was in order Nero left the infirmary and went to the waiting room where he had the others wait.

He opened the door to find three people; a boy and two girls sleeping on the couches while one figure of a boy trained in the coner.

He got all of their attention and waited a few minutes for the still half asleep trio to regain themselves.

"Now that you're all paying attention we can begin your briefing." Nero said seriously.

"Of all those I requested here your the only ones who replied. Others were too preoccupied or too far away to respond. That said I hope you'll forgive me for cutting your breaks short." Nero spoke humbly with a friendly smile since he was still a good mood.

"I expect that all of you adjusted well to your new powers?" Nero inquired.

All of them nodded in affirmation.Nero smiled at them and nodded his head in approval.

"Before we begin I'd like to know your names,age, former occupations and any skills you might have." Nero stated. The boy who was training came forward and introduced himself.

"My name is Haru Takahashi. Fifteen and I'm skilled in the ways of the sword." He stated dryly and concisely. His facial features were decent. Black hair, grey dim eyes and a small scar running across his lip.

"My name is Asahi 17 years old, and formally a civilian from Amegakure. I have no skills in combat but I am a professional pick pocket. I was caught and sold to slavery by one of my targets." Asahi replied in a more friendly tone with a light smirk on his face. He had brownish red hair and green eyes. With tan skin and a decent face.

Next came the two siblings, the older looking girl spoke first.She had yellow hair with blue eyes. She could be classified as a beauty with a great curvaceous body.

"My name is Himari, I'm 15 and have no combat skills. Before this we were farmers in the village hidden in the grass. This here is my-" Himari was cut of by Nero who raised his hands.

" Everyone will speak for themselves, if you fear simply introducing yourself how will I be assured that you'll fight and secure a victory when the time comes." Nero said with a smile.

Himari looked at the smaller girl who.clung unto her shyly. She was about to speak in her defense but the small girl started speaking.

"H-hi, m- my name is Y- Yua. I'm twelve and I have no combat skills. I used to work in a farm in the hidden grass too." The girl stuttered most of her sentence but her introduction was clear.

Nero nodded at the little girl and refocused his attention to all of them.

"Now that that's out of the way we can begin. I'll download a level 3 fighting technique directly to your brains best suited to your new powers. You'll also be receiving level 2 weapons and armor for the duration of your mission. Ichigo will be the leader of this team and you will follow her orders without question." Nero spoke as he handed all of them small translucent screens that had a list of combat techniques. It ranged from swords, bows, guns and daggers and all of them had different ways to be utilized.

All of them silently read the information. They took a while get used to using the tablets but with their enhanced comprehensive abilities they were able to fluidly use the technology soon enough.

After half an hour Haru raised his hand. Nero nodded and gestured for him to speak.

"I'd appreciate this technique along with a katana and wakizashi." Haru stated confidently, he already had knowledge on how to perform laido since samurai specialized in that technique, but Nero's codex had more advanced techniques so he decided to practice them too.

Nero nodded in understanding and waited for the others.Himari was the next one to speak.

"I'd like to pick the sniper proffession along with some basic cqc technique I'm case necessary." She requested politely. Nero nodded again and looked at her sibling as she seemed to also want to speak.

"I also request the sniper and some cqc training." Yua said meekly.

"I think using daggers and stealth techniques would be more suited for me." Asahi chirped in.

After formalizing everything, Nero left the four people to read more about his organization and the structure that had to be followed.

He hadn't decided on a name yet, but he chose to adopt a hirachy similar to the S.H.I.E.L.D organization from marvel. He classified his rank as Leader and lvl 10 agent. The structure stared at level one and ascended up to lvl 10. As of right now only combat personal was available but in the coming years different specialized branches would be formed and all of them would regard Nero as their Supreme leader.

In his organization the higher one's rank, they could have access to better information, weapons, gadgets, salaries, combat techniques and even a chance to improve their physiology.

Four days blinked by, Ichigo recovered as quickly as expected and also immediately started training, she used her cybanatic implants to quicken the study part of her training as leader and also adjusted to her strength. Soon they left for Soragakure under Nero's order. Since they weren't trained as a team they might not be effective, but Nero also knew that this was the best practical training for them. He didn't care whether Soragakure would fall or not anymore. After analyzing everything even of Soragakure fell he'd still be able to usurp the power vacuum left by the previous leaders and secure land to build factories and find man power. If by some miracle Soragakure won, he'd still get all those resources. What matters now is making sure that his subordinates were growing.
