18. Kingdom of Corona. part 2.

After a nice evening in the Kingdom of Corona, morning eventually came.

Leo woke up bright and early today, not wanting to be another morning workout for Namine this time..

Leo looked at Namine with a smile, she looked absolutely content and comfortable while sleeping, 'Let's let her sleep for now..' Leo thought, she had a long day yesterday after all.

He opened up the window letting some morning air come in, he instantly felt refreshed, 'such a nice place, so relaxing'.

He saw the sun slowly rising on the horizon and decided to grab his book from his backpack, 'Time to finally give this a read.' Leo sat down on the open window, he then took a look at the title.. But, he couldn't find any, 'Hmm, makes me even more curious..' He thought as he then started reading.

First he was about the Elements and the science behind them, then the effects that Mana had on the elements, throughout the ages, 'Interesting, this part is about the effects Mana had on animals'.

Leo was totally immersed, It made him think about Summoning techniques in Itachi's old world, he didn't even notice Namine slowly waking up, due to being so engaged in the book.

Namine was confused again at first, wondering where she was, but she then quickly realized that she was sleeping in the Tower.

She looked around the room and saw Leo quietly reading his book, she couldn't help but stare at him.

Namine for some reason, thought that Leo just looked so mesmerizing to her at that point, in this moment, she just couldn't look away from him.. It was his focus that drew her in.

Leo looked so serious, so concentrated, how he kept looking through the pages trying to comprehend what he reading. It was a side of Leos, a serious side, that Namine hasn't seen of him yet..

Then there was the lighting in the background, the wind that brushed through his hair.

It looked like something out of a fairy-tale to her, Namine slowly grabbed her sketchbook that layed close to her, and automatically started drawing him, not willing to interrupt him at all.

Namine couldn't help, but feel a little bit happy, having seen another side of her new friend, and partner, the event with Riku and Mickey didn't really count, as Leo was pretending.

Though, inside her chest, Namine's heart started beating bit faster.

'I feel so warm inside, i really wonder what it is, that i'm feeling right now.. Though, i guess its not a bad feeling.' Namine thought happily. She once again glanced at Leo's face, she then entered her own world, and quickly continued her drawing..

It wasn't until an hour later that Namine finished her drawing, she looked at it with a satisfied expression, but then her stomach started announcing its presence to her, she couldn't help but blush a little bit.

She put away her sketchbook, and approached Leo, who looked slightly frustrated now.

"Good morning Leo!" Namine shouted happily.

"WHA!" Leo in shock almost threw his book out the window.

Namine started slightly laughing, While Leo wiped away some cold sweat.

"Morning Namine, sleep well?" Leo said after taking a small moment to pick up, his now fast beating heart.

"Yup~ But, can we head out? Weren't we supposed to be training and then going to explore? I'm also getting a little hungry now." Namine asked, Leo looked sheepish.

"S-sorry, i totally got into reading that i lost track of time.." He apologized.

"I don't mind~" Namine giggled again, looking at him feeling a little embarrassed.

Leo smiled, "Guess we'll go eat a little bit then, then we'll explore and do some training, later in the afternoon!" Leo said after thinking about it for a moment.

Namine just nodded in reply, they only ate a quick sandwich, and they quickly got ready to leave.

Currently Leo had Namine on his back, they were traveling at the decent speed!

Namine is having the time of her life! With Leo's fast traveling abilities, it was as if they were both weightless, she didn't doubt that, none of their friends could beat him in his speed.

At times Leo would suddenly stop at interesting places, like scenic areas, he would do it while standing on tree branches for the cover it provided, and they would simply observe animals and other people, who looked to be hunters going about their lives.

Namine, really felt like she's learning a lot of new things as Leo softly explained what he could see, sometimes she wouldn't notice it at first, until Leo would point it out for her properly.

This also impressed her, she figured that he had really exquisite eyesight, which made her a little bit jealous.

They moved on until they found another empty space surrounding by mountains and caves, Leo remembered this place as Sora defeated a boss in this place.

"Hmm, this place will work greatly." Leo said to Namine, he let her stand and started preparing the place for training, while Namine prepared their food.

Namine was impressed, Leo started changing the landscape left and right.

Giant stone steps, a medium sized pool of water, even a few wooden structures, for some reason, she saw that Leo was quite surprised by all of the wooden structures that he could make..

Namine then continued her own tasks, she felt that they have a good teamwork, it's mostly due to Leo's efficient task management, and even though he can everything himself easily, and many times faster, he doesn't and makes her feel like she's part of the team instead, which makes her happy.

'Alright, this should be fine for now..' Leo thought as he wiped some sweat away from his face, this was all good training for him.

'Being able to use the Wood Release for some reason is kind of weird though, i wonder if it's due to being able to use Mana..' Leo thought, though he couldn't find out the answer currently, no matter how much he tried or wanted to know.

*Ugh* 'So mysterious..' Leo rubbed through his hair slightly in frustration.

"Leo? Everything alright?" Namine suddenly asked as she handed him some water.

Leo gratefully accepted, "Yeah, everything's fine, just thinking about these structures i can make... Let's just say that i shouldn't be able to do this.. Yet, i can for some reason.." Leo explained, he didn't see a need to withhold this from her.

Namine smiled, "Does it really matter that you can? I mean, being able to do something beats being stuck not being able to.. Right?" Namine asked.

Leo looked at her in surprise, "Yeah, that's definitely true! Thanks Namine!" Leo gave a bright smile back.

'Namine's right, i used to be powerless, now i have so much to my disposal, who cares about the reasons why..' Leo made up his mind, to not mind the 'why's' or 'how's' anymore.

"Let's go eat~!" Leo cheered.

'Yup~!' Namine agreed happily.
