14. Space Exploration and preparations.

Leo and Namine are currently having fun in outer space together.

They are both taking turns between steering the Gummi Ship and blasting away at space debris and remnants of the Heartless..

"Woah! Nice going Namine! You're quite a natural at this!" Leo said as he gave her a thumbs up.

He genuinely felt impressed by Namine on her piloting skills and control, while he and his Shadow Clone kept blasting away in co-pilot seats and cleaning up the road ahead.

Namine smiled brightly as she heard his compliment, "Thanks Leo! This feels amazing! You are great at blasting everything and have quite an accurate aim, it makes it easier for me to do all this!" She said slightly pumped up and as she continued concentrating on flying.

Leo awkwardly scratched his head as he heard her praise, 'Aim training is the road most men will need too take eventually..' he joked.

Apparently Namine remembered how Riku was piloting the Ship a few months ago, which made it quite easier for her and her great memory.

Leo nodded knowingly, "Then, how about we let you pilot the ship from now on, it also makes it easier for me, in order too keep a closer eye on our surroundings myself." Leo suggested.

Namine nodded excitingly, "Yeah! You can count on me!" She said, though with a slight blush.

Namine wasn't used to being this close to the action before all this and also being counted on by Leo made her feel warm, and also appreciated..

Leo nodded, "Then, it's a deal!" He said as continued concentrating on incoming enemies.

They continued making small talk and the Gummi Ship kept collecting materials and more Munny as they explored, which pleased Leo greatly, they currently only made slight detours.. But, Twilight Town was still their destination.

Finally after another wave of clearing enemies, they took a break and set the ship on autopilot.

"Space.. It sure is beautiful too look at like this.." Leo said with an emotional smile on his face as he enjoyed the moment.

He would never had an opportunity to go into outer space back on Earth..

Namine nodded, "Yeah.. It feels so relaxing too look at it all like this.." she said standing next to him appreciating the view.

They smiled happily and even saw a falling star in the distance, before finally arriving at Twilight Town..

Namine parked the ship in the forest, near the abandoned mansion.

She felt slightly nostalgic looking at the surrounding areas..

Leo turned towards her, "What would you like to do Namine? Go together and get some supplies? Or would you like to wait here and rest?" Leo asked her.

Namine thought for a moment, "I think I'll take a stroll and read the book that i got earlier while in the forest." She said as looked at him with puppy dog eyes and asking for his permission.

Leo chuckled and nodded, "That's fine, i won't be too long and if anything happens just run towards the ship." He said, she happily nodded in acceptance.

Leo collected the Munny as he separated the materials needed from the ships storage room, they both walked out stretching enjoying the fresh air after a long ride.

Leo saw they still had a few hours of daylight left, he quickly waved goodbye, made a tiger seal and disappeared in a swirl of leaves.

Namine looked surprised, "A Ninja, huh.. He sure is interesting.." She smiled as she held the book closer, she then skipped happily into the forest.

Leo had counted the Munny and was quite surprised, "W-wow, i actually made a lot more Munny in space, than when i actually did that concert job before.." He sighed slightly, but just shrugged eventually.

He still had fun doing it, so it didn't really matter much in the end..

He then jumped from building to building, he wasn't interested in moving through the sewers, etc. Unless, if it was an emergency of course..

Leo headed towards the market near the square, people instantly recognized him and started greeting him, or started pointing him out in the crowd.

Leo smiled politely and greeted everyone back, they started thanking him for the great performance and offered him some free ingredients and fruits.

Leo tried to decline, but everyone insisted that he took them saying or mumbling something about how great it was that he that performed, instead of Seifer and his crew..

Leo felt speechless hearing that, 'Now.. I kind off want to know how bad their performance was..' Leo curiously wondered, but shuddered seeing the looks of pain in people's eyes.

He decided to at least pay a portion of the groceries, he didn't want to take advantage of the people's kindness.

Though he was now carrying alot of bags in his hands while walking back to the ship, "Luckily, it isn't that heavy, just more clumsy.." Leo muttered slightly.

Leo then noticed that he was near the the new goods shop that he helped, he decided to go say hello.

Going inside the store, Leo was immediately welcomed by the manager, who looked at him with a predatory gaze.

"Welcome back Leo Dear! Good to see you! How have you all been?" the manager asked happily.

Leo nodded, "I'm great, thank you.. I was in the neighborhood and dropped by, too say hello, ah, and also too tell you, that i'll be away for a while.. as me, and a friend are going camping.." He said as he motioned to his stuff.

The manager happily nodded and quickly grabbed a big bag from underneath the counter, "My workers worked hard on these! They were greatly inspired by the performance you gave, so please take these.. I also put in some extras as a thank you for the great business opportunity you gave our store." *Te~hee~* "Have a look dear!" He winked at Leo making him shudder slightly.

Leo quickly set his sights on the huge backpack, he quickly opened it up and was surprised by all the different items.

In there sat a dozen or so pairs of light resistant glasses in see through cases, A few swimming trunks and a few two piece bathing suits, enough matching sandals, two cameras, two photo albums, Two Struggle batons, a gold VIP discount pass, and a.. Single Ocarina? And they were all in a checkered style simular to Leo's current clothing, though all in different colors, and all had a Limited Edition mark on it.

Leo looked in awe, he looked at the manager who was grinning, "Are you really sure? This is quite alot and it all looks expensive!" He asked reluctantly.

The manager nodded, "The owner was extremely excited and happy about the profit made after you and your brothers performed, he himself gave the order, and i myself couldn't agree more! Lastly these two Struggle batons are for practice, in a few months there will be a new tournament.. The owner would like to ask, if you would like to endorse us then as well?" He asked slightly hopeful.

Leo looked in awe, 'The Owner? I wonder who he could be?' He then looked at the manager, "I'm not entirely sure if i can join in, but if nothing goes wrong, then i don't mind going." He said with a small smile.

The manager nodded appreciatively, "That's fine! I'm sure it will be a great experience for us all if you can make it dearie!" He then gave a big grin.

Leo smiled wryly as he looked around the store, some items suddenly caught his attention, "Hmm.. I also would like to buy these items please." Leo said with a smile on his face.

The manager looked surprised at the items Leo pointed out to him, but happily smiled as he used the VIP pass to discount them.

They carefully packaged all the items inside his new backpack again including his ingredients and food.

Leo waved goodbye as he walked off, all the employees and the manager, made a dreamy sigh as they gazed at his retreating figure.
