Unexpected Motherhood

I'm sick, honestly I don't have the energy to write if I'm sick because it's inconvenient, hopefully this will get cured tomorrow or there will be no update in Wednesday.

-Gilgamesh-

In the land of Uruk, the queen and the first Demi-God of the world was starting to have some weird craving lately.

Food that she usually doesn't find appealing suddenly started to look appetizing.

It started a few days after she last visited the shop, at first she thought it was just some sort of once in a while craving for something as everyone, even the golden queen babylonian has this kind of moment.

But a few weeks later, she started throwing up for no reason, which was impossible. Her body was that of a Demi-God. It is impossible for her to get sick or get infected by some sort of pandemic virus.

It took her a few more throwing out before finally decided something she never thought she needed, find a healer.

Because something is very wrong with her body right now, something beyond her knowledge and frankly it's scaring her a bit.

As soon as she issued an order to find a healer, it didn't take long to find the best healer in the kingdom to check on her condition.

"I..I don't know how to break this to you, Your Help but…" The female healer hesitates.

Gilgamesh got annoyed as she was very eager to know what sort of illness she was having. "Don't keep me waiting healer, speak! What sort of horrid illness does my body have?"

"Uhmm..y-your grace..you don't have an illness at all.. instead it's something more natural…"

Gilgamesh frowned. "And what exactly is it?"

"You're pregnant your grace…your strange cravings for food, the throwing up and not having this month period is because you're pregnant." Healer dropped the bomb.

Gilgamesh's eyes widened. "Oh.."

Her retainers were so shocked at the news that some of them fainted, while others couldn't simply believe that their Queen was pregnant!

"But that's…"

And then she paused as she realized that it is really the case, with the amount 'his' seed pouring inside her, it was little to no doubt that it was enough to impregnate her.

She didn't think it would result in her becoming a mother..?

Biting her lips, she has no idea what to feel, on the other hand she was angry at suddenly becoming a parent unknowingly, and the other is fascination because this was nothing but sort of a miracle.

She wasn't supposed to have a child, it was impossible for her due to the fact that a Demi-God has a ridiculously low fertility (Quite ironic really, considering who her mother is), because simply she's a different species compared to a mortal man and a god.

This was a one-in-a-billion chance literally.

While she was musing in her mind, suddenly the healer suggested something that made her almost snap.

"I-if you want, my grace I can abort the child-"

Before she could even finish her sentence, an enormous amount of killing intent was pouring into her very being and made her kneel into the very ground and started throwing up violently.

"What did you just say…?!"

The healer stared at the queen and saw a face that she wouldn't forget till her grave, it was a face that was almost diabolical, she swore she never saw the queen this angry before.

"You're suggesting aborting a child, MY CHILD! You insolent little pest!" Gilgamesh almost thought of executing her right here and now, but the speck of her rationality managed to stop her from killing the healer.

It took a mouthful of breath to finally calm her down, after a few minutes, she said. "Leave, before I lose my patience."

Quickly the healer left the throne hall leaving the queen and her retainers alone.

Gilgamesh can't believe that woman dared to suggest that, while it's true that this child she's carrying is nothing more than an accident, she wasn't cruel and that she wanted to get rid of it.

No, far from it. There's no way she would condemn her child's fate before they could even choose a path.

That's why she would carry this child until the day of its birth.

But still, to think she would bore a child to a man who isn't even her husband…

Speaking of that man, should she mention this news to him…?

He has the right to know, after all. He's the child's father.

But for now, she needed to think in silence and what could this mean in the future.

"All of you leave, I wish to think alone."

And with her command, her retainers left.

After they left, she quietly spoke. "By the gods…what should I do now.."

I suddenly felt an itch in my nose that immediately became a sneeze the next second. "Achoo~!"

"Did I miss something important perhaps..?"

Anyway, it probably isn't too important…

It's been a few days since the cafeteria moment, and I was still having an existential crisis by the fact I wasn't bound by the same common sense of peasants.

It's the kind of thing that I'm too rich to understand apparently.

Either way, aside from my 'problem' if it can be called such anyway, right now it's time for me to give the gift I was supposed to give my children a few days ago.

I looked at the pokemon who were staying here in my shop for a while, hopefully they didn't get too attached to their caretaker.

Which was Emiya, he didn't look like it, but he started to get fond of this weird rat, raccoon creatures, whatever some kind of evolution they experienced I have no idea.

"Guys, it's time to introduce you to your long life companion, come here."

With that said, the two pokemon excitedly jumped at my embrace, hopefully Ymir wouldn't be too lonely without these guys.

After taking both pokemon in hand, I left the shop, leaving it to the care of Emiya.

I arrived at the house very quickly, now it's only a matter of looking for the children, since it's afternoon. I figure out that they're in the living room with their mother.

I went to the living room only to find out that my sister was there with my children, teaching them their way of the Barthomeloi.

Oh shit, this is bad…

No, this focking bad, my git of my sister is here mate..!

Ah, my inner Britishness is coming out.

Maybe it's not too late to get away from this-

"Alexander, what…are those things in your arms?" Lorelei stared hard at the Evee and the snow themed Vulpix in my embrace.

Ah, shit it's too late.

"Ev? Evee?"

"Vu? Vul!"

The pokemon was letting out a confused noise as to why I'm currently sweating right now.

Despite my sister's piercing glare, my children were fascinated by the pokemon in my arms, especially Ruby.

Aqua however, was curious about what these animals are.

"Well, about this…"

"Did you just bring a Phantasmal Beast in the house? With the children here?" Lorelei started to get angry.

This is exactly why I don't want her to be here, but thinking of her words.

I didn't realize it before, but the pokemons in my arms now has mana, I'm pretty sure they didn't have any back in the shop.

Is this perhaps the side-effect of crossing worlds?

The world is basically treating the pokemon the same as a Phantasmal Beast.

With that amount of mana they're generating, even an entire squad or enforcer wouldn't be able to kill them.

What the heck, did I just accidentally make them stronger in the process?

Hopefully my bluff would work.

"Ehem, they're domesticated soooo… don't worry..?" I let out a strained smile when I said that.

Lorelei looked at me like an idiot, yeah that's why I get for saying that, everyone knows phantasmal species mostly couldn't be tamed.

Save for a few, either way she didn't buy it and said. "Restraint those things by before thinking of bringing it closer to my niece and nephew."

"... alright."

So I got my ass chewed by my dear sister and had no choice but to restrain the pokemon with magic, this is cruel.

This is animal abuse, but either way my sister got a point that these are dangerous beasts, they were the same as before there won't be any problem at all, but since they gained a prana worthy of a phantasmal species. It may be a good idea to get them checked before giving them to my children.

Who knows what would happen if they can't control their newfound strength, definitely didn't want to get my kids to get hurt.

Anyway, my plan to give my children pokemon failed mainly thanks to my sister.

In this accursed world, nothing ever goes as planned.

At the very least, I got the assurance to my sister that the pokemon won't be abused or experimented, just a light check up.

A/N: By Fate standard pokemon are considered a Phantasmal Species. So it isn't too surprising.

I originally intended to just give it to the children without hassle, but this is more interesting in my perspective.
