"Sofia do you mind if I want to talk to my model alone," James said with a sweet smile and Sofia smirked because she understood that James developed something for Juliet in his heart.

"Of course, after all, you are the boss," Sofia said and excused herself.

Juliet and James were left alone in the room and Juliet was feeling awkward

"So Juliet, I am sure you recognised me right," James asked her folding her hand and he looked at the nervous smile of Juliet.

His heart melted right away seeing her smile like this but she had to control her emotion because she didn't want to scare Juliet.

"Yes I have seen you in Xavier's house at parties and I know you two are best friends," Juliet said in a soft voice and her hand are shaking

James leaned back on his chair and notice every moment of Juliet.

"Congratulations on your wedding" James said and Juliet raised her head to look at him

Juliet started to shake at the mention of the wedding because she remembered the dark night of her life that has changed her life forever.

James noticed this and he got serious

"Juliet are you okay," he asked but got no reply from her

James got alert, poured some water for her, and came to her side.

He out hand on Juliet's shoulder and she immediately got startled by the unknown touch

"Drink this," James said and Juliet drank the water in one gulp.

"Please don't tell this to Xavier that I came to you for work," Juliet said and tears gathered in her eyes. James didn't understand that what Xavier had done to poor Juliet that got her so scared

James bent on her knees and it hurt him to see Juliet this vulnerable. his heart broke to see her like this after all juliet was the love of his life

He remembered that the last time he saw Juliet she was full of fun then why with the mention of Xavier she lost her calm

Something is really fishy and James was determined to find out about this

"Juliet, Xavier is your husband and he has the biggest modelling agency then why didn't you start off your career with him," James asked and Juliet could stop her tears.

James' eyes filled with anger when he saw Juliet crying only because of Xavier

He thought if he got the place of Xavier then he would never let Juliet cry

James wiped the tears of Juliet and with the small gesture of care Juliet's heart filled with warmth

"Our marriage is a sham marriage and he hates me, he married me because of my dying mom," Juliet said and she felt burdened and emptied in her shoulder because this secret was eating her alive.

James was astonished to see that and he couldn't believe his ears

He was confused if Xavier hates Juliet then why he was getting possessive on that day when James expressed his love towards Juliet?

There was definitely something that Xavier was hiding but James would solve the puzzle soon.

On the other hand, James was happy that he still got the chance to win Juliet and he would surely use this chance well

"I am sorry Juliet to know about this but please don't cry. You can take me as your friend" James said putting his hand on Juliet.

Juliet felt cared for one a second but then she felt that it was not right because she was married and such things don't look good on her.

Juliet removed her hand and James stood up from his position

"Why do you want to be my friend when you don't even k ow me properly," Juliet asked innocently and James chucked

"I am the businessman Juliet and I have a tendency to identify people's character in one go," James said and Juliet looked at him with her doe eyes

"So what do you learn from my character," Juliet asked and James looked straight into her eyes

"You are a pious and pure woman, and most importantly you are the most lovely girl I have ever seen," James said getting lost in Juliet's eyes and shale his head off

Hearing James, Juliet smiled because no one had ever talked such nicely but her happiness soon vanished when she realised that she was talking to Xavier's best friend

"Are you playing with me Juliet asked and James arched her eyebrow at her

"Why would I play with a sweet angel like you," James said like he was talking to a child

"You are Xavier's friend then why would you support me?"Juliet asked and James shake her head

"Juliet trust me that I am with you and I am not going to share our conversation with Xavier and I am

Man of my words sweetheart" he said and Juliet gulped because how can she trust a man who she never talked to in past.

"But why," Juliet asked innocently.

"Some things are left hidden until the right time comes," he said to Juliet with the hidden meaning behind his dialogue.

Juliet and James were looking into each other eyes when Sofia entered

"Are you guys done?" Sofia said and both James and Juliet got startled

"Yes Sofia, come inside. I was telling my supermodel that I will always support her and I will help her in reaching height" James said to Sofia and then he looked at Juliet with assurance in his eyes

"It's good to know that you guys are getting alone afterall model should have a good relationship with her boss," Sofia said and she grinned at James

James understood the meaning behind Sofia's words but Juliet was unaware of her surrounding as she was lost in her own world.
