Zheng Haoyu wrinkled his brow, his face full of distaste; he'd never seen a girl so unguarded when she ate.

But Zheng Peng and his wife didn't see it that way. A girl would only act this way around her own family, which showed that Su Nian liked them.

When Zheng Haoyu returned, his handsome face carried the stormy gloom that usually preceded a tempest. Not sparing Su Nian a single glance, it was obvious that the old man had ordered him to stay the night.
