For a moment, the atmosphere tightened.
"Mr. Cobb, you should know that the Mrs. Carter I'm talking about isn't just anyone," the guard's words were a warning, both inside and out.
"The First Lady?"
"It would be best if you come with us," the guard said, extending his hand towards the back.
And Amelia Cobb?
She put her cell phone in her pocket and slowly shifted her gaze onto the guard: "So what? Abusing power to oppress people?"
The guard knew well that Amelia was difficult to deal with. He had come prepared for that, but he hadn't expected her to be this difficult.
"You should be clear about where you are now; in the age of the internet, aren't you afraid of exposure by foreign media? If you can suppress domestic media, can you also suppress foreign ones?"
"Let me go, no way. Want to see me? Come in person."
Amelia spoke and pushed past the man blocking her way. She entered the elevator.
