Alyssa

As I woke up, my eyes tried adjusting to the darkness around me. I couldn't see anything but I could tell that I was the only one in this room. I tried to move my arms but I couldn't. My heart started racing as I tried unsuccessfully to move my arms but all tried failed. I leaned back against the wall and cried.

My legs were free so I moved them around and tried to see if there was anything in the room that could help... but unfortunately there was nothing. My stomach growled and my throat was dry. I started coughing and hoped that someone would come in here and save me.

The next thing I know, the door opened and I saw light before it closed again. The person who came in, turned the light on and I quickly tried to adjust to it. I finally saw an older woman, maybe in her fifty's, pushing a tray full of food and water over towards me.
