Up To

Mrs Roman and Genevieve made it downstairs together, looking like sisters rather than mother and daughter. While Genevieve was in a blue dress with little shimmering stones, Mrs Roman was putting on a pink straight dress tag stopped right on her knee level. She was looking more younger and beautiful.

Mr Roman who was conversing with Mr Calhoun paused when he saw both his wife and first daughter coming downstairs. His lips stretched into a smile as he admired the woman he was crazily in love with and then his beautiful daughter.

They both looked mesmerizing and so stunning in their respective dresses, he didn't fail to notice the bright smile on Eve's face and he frowned. He couldn't help but wonder what she was smiling all about, wasn't she the same person who told him earlier on that she wasn't going to attend the dinner? Then why was she smiling like she'd just won a golden lottery?
