Genevieve wrapped her arms around herself and gave him a pointed look.

"I think I should be the one asking questions around her Rhett, after all I was the one who went to pick up my husband and his secretary while they were both covered in blood and in the middle of nowhere."

Rhett knew he was in trouble seeing how she was staring at him.

He gulped and nodded his head weakly, he was thinking of what to do at this point. It was either he feigned weakness or he forged himself to sleep instead but for now, he was still undecided.

"What would you like to know my dear wife?" He asked trying to come up with one of his best charming smile.

The scowl on Genevieve's face didn't drop,

"I have a lot of questions to ask Rhett and when I do, I hope you answer them like an adult instead of lying," she told him.

Rhett looked at her with an amused smile.

"And who said adults do not lie?" He asked only to get a glare again from her.
