"Stay at home and take care of yourself and the baby. That's all I ask of you, you can do anything you want after that."
Genevieve scowled after hearing that, she could not believe he could say something like that. What was she to him? A puppet he thinks he can control every single time?
"I don't need to stay at home and 'rest' Rhett," she said adding stress to the rest part.
"Yes, you do and we both know that. You aren't strong enough to work Genevieve. Your doctor told you to have enough rest and I think you should do as she says,"
"I have had enough rest Rhett and I'm tired of it! How long do I have to stay in the godforsaken house doing nothing but counting the walls and the rooms in it? I'm tired and bored out of my mind, and sometimes it feels like I'm going mad. I need to take some fresh air Rhett and I can't do that while in this house," she retorted.
Rhett stared at her with an unreadable expression.
