"Protect me from what?" Genevieve asked.
"You know what, just leave Genevieve..now," Raymond said and stormed out of the room.
Elisha sighed and carefully tied the blindfold around Genevieve's eyes.
"Hold my hand," she held Genevieve's hand instead of letting her move around while trying to search for her hand.
Elisha led her out and helped her in the car,
"This is it Genevieve, the driver will take you home…" Genevieve cut in.
"Aren't you coming with me, mother?" She asked with the blindfold still on.
"I….I can't Eve,"
"Why?"
"Because your father is in a bad mood right now and I don't think leaving him alone would be a wise decision," she replied.
"Why is he in a bad mood?" Genevieve asked even though she cringed a bit when she accepted that Raymond was truly her father.
