Genevieve wondered what might have made her this pale, clearing her throat again she said.
"Hi, could you please tone the noise down?" She asked, gesturing to her mop stick and bucket.
The young pale lady looked at her with wide eyes and nodded, "Ye…yes right. I'm so sorry, Collins didn't tell me anyone was in." She apologized.
Genevieve nodded, "It's okay, I wouldn't expect that creepy man to tell you about me anyway." She blurted out before she could stop herself. Genevieve slapped her mouth with her hand as soon as she realized what she had just said. She just called the receptionist creepy in before this lady who might be his colleague.
Quickly she looked around to see if the creepy man was lurking around, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that." She apologizes.
But to her surprise the lady laughed, shaking her head.
"Don't worry. This isn't the first time I have heard someone call Colins creepy." She replied with a warm smile.
