Mr. Roman saw Mr Calhoun off and he didn't leave the gate until he was sure the cars the old man came in with were gone. He looked at the dark sky and sighed, he wasn't in any rush to go inside. He knew his wife would bombard him with questions once he went back inside, a part of him was feeling guilty for doing this but another part of him was trying to reassure him that he was only doing this because he was in dire need of help.
Alexander Roman didn't ever think that he would face this huge crisis in his business career, he'd always been careful right from a young age and all of a sudden this happened. He'd go borrow money from loan sharks and banks to make amends but still, those weren't enough. He has a bigger debt than he thought.
Alexander stood there, just taking in the fresh air as he tucked his hands in his pockets. The face of his daughter looking hurt and betrayed when they broke the news to her popped in his head making him clenched his hands.
