Episode 12

As everyone approached the harbor the loud hum of a propeller could be heard ahead. There was an open area near the port and several vehicles along with three helicopters waited for Jayden and the other's arrival. "Looks like we got here just in time," Martin said. Mavis stood near one of the vehicles and she waved to them. "Hey guys! Over here!" Mavis shouted. The group formed around Mavis. Heavily armed men began huddling around the group as they began to discuss the operation that was about to take place. "This is Captain Ryder Briggs, he will be escorting you on this mission," Mavis said. Captain Briggs stepped forward, "Listen up, this operation is going to be dangerous, expect heavy resistance and keep in mind there is an elemental user amongst the combatants we will be facing, planning for this operation has been minimal but in order to stop Oracle and bring down their criminal acts we need to put a stop to their organization tonight," he said. Jayden stepped forward and looked around. "We are all here for the same goal, but with that we will need to be prepared to take on whatever comes out way," he said. Everyone nodded, and Captain Briggs pointed to the helicopters. "That's our ride in, we will rappel down once we arrive at our destination, be aware that their may be incoming fire so be quick with exiting the aircraft, the elemental users will act as our frontline to take out any heavy resistance we may encounter," Captain Briggs said, "Are we all ready?" Everyone nodded, "Good, watch each others backs and let's make it back alive," Captain Briggs said. Everyone dispersed and began to make their way to the helicopters. "Vere, Devin!" Mavis called out. Vere and Devin stopped and looked at Mavis as she motioned for them to come to her. "What do you think that's about?" Yuki asked. Jayden shrugged, "I don't know, but how are you feeling?" He asked. Yuki frowned, "I'm nervous, but ready....Hime is with me and together we will get through this," she said. Jayden smiled, "You've got me too," he said. Yuki smiled and kissed Jayden on the cheek, "Please stay safe," she said. Jayden nodded, "You too," he replied. Mikiu walked up and patted Yuki on the back, "She's with me so she'll be alright," she said smiling, "But you..." Mikiu glared at Martin, "You better watch him like a hawk." Martin's face grew pale, "Ri...ght...Jayden will be fine with me," he replied. Jayden turned to walk away , but noticed Mavis hugging both Vere and Devin. "I wonder what that's about?" Jayden thought to himself. Vere and Devin ran towards the third helicopter, "JAYDEN!" Vere shouted. Jayden turned, "Yeah?" He replied. Vere grinned, "DON'T GET SHOT!" He said giving a thumbs up. Jayden's face sunk, "YOU TOO ASSHOLE!" He replied. The two both entered their helicopters. "Alright gentleman, prepare your selves ETA 25 minutes until we hit Iris Cove," Captain Briggs said. The men in the helicopter cocked their weapons loudly, "This is it..." Jayden thought to himself as gripped his knees. "Just keep your head down, and trust in your abilities," Martin said, "Anubis will keep you safe." Anubis grunted, "We're heading into a fight? Bout time I get some action." Jayden grinned, "Yeah...you and me both." The helicopters lifted into the air and flew off into the night. Meanwhile, the ocean breeze blew through Ben's face as he stood on the shoreline outside of the Oracle facility. "Someone is coming.." Horakhty said. Ben nodded, "He's coming.." He replied, "This time though....this time we will end things once and for all."
