Because I Married You

Nam Joo Hyuk was not surprised when he had a guest. He could see a woman dressed all in black, sitting with her legs crossed high.

The woman tossed her straight black hair when she saw Nam Joo Hyuk, who had just appeared in front of the entrance.

"What did you come here for?" asked Nam Joo Hyuk in annoyance.

"Uhh… why are you so curt? Come on, Oppa ..,.

"Don't call me like that! Even though we are family. I'm not your brother," Nam Joo Hyuk curtly said and sat opposite the woman in front of him.

That woman is Suzy, the adopted sister of Nam Joo Hyuk. She was used to the cold and curt attitude usually shown by Nam Joo Hyuk.

"At least I can make small talk a little. I heard there was a commotion last night. You killed one of the retainers from the Moro Clan?" A cynical smile immediately appeared on Suzy's face.

"Our people have seen you take a woman with you. You should have known that our father was watching your every move. I came because I care about you. What exactly are you hiding?"

Suzy's eyes turned suspicious, and the two pairs stared at each other for a few seconds without a word being spoken.

"None of your business," Nam Joo Hyuk said, and he finally blinked a few times.

"You're not good at lying. Do you know exactly, what I'm good at? What..." Suzy glanced up, and after that, she saw Nam Joo Hyuk's reaction because he looked furious.

"Is that woman upstairs?" she asked again.

"I told you it's none of your business!" Nam Joo Hyuk realized. It would be useless if he continued to lie in front of Suzy.

The stepsister in front of him had been trained for thousands of years to know how to expose a lie.

"You're crazy, Joo Hyuk! Why did you bring humans to this place?!" Suzy glared in annoyance, while Nam Joo Hyuk immediately got up from his seat.

"Looks like our business is over. You'd better get out of my palace!" said Nam Joo Hyuk in a rude manner.

"Who is that human? Why did you bring humans to this place? Aren't you afraid of our father finding out, and you get punished again? Have you forgotten? The last time you helped a human. You've been locked up for a long time!" Suzy was annoyed, she also got up from her seat.

Again and again, Nam Joo Hyuk gave an icy cold stare. He remembered ten years ago when he helped someone very precious to him.

"Even if I get punished, and it's none of your business," said Nam Joo Hyuk, turning around without having to wait for a reply from his adopted sister.

"Shit!! Again, you act like this! You always act as you wish without caring about the risks you will face," said Suzy with an annoyed chuckle.

A bed with a white base, beside the bed was a small round table with her cell phone turned off.

The man sat on a large sofa while gazing at the view from behind the window. There was a large window which was very large, so it was possible that Nam Joo Hyuk could ease jump through the window without having to bend over.

Surprisingly the window didn't have any glass or divider. The window looked like a big hole, like a spare door that leads to the wilderness out there.

Nam Joo Hyuk sat down with a worried look on his face. His hands were in his lap, resting on each other with squeezing fingers.

"Soon ... soon it will be time for the full moon. They will be aware of her presence here," said Nam Joo Hyuk while watching the almost perfect moon.

"I don't want to lose it again. I have to make a decision," thought Nam Joo Hyuk and got up from his seat.

His footsteps were so fast when he had left his room. He had made a decision, which would change the fate that had trapped him for so long.

Nam Joo Hyuk was already at the bedroom door which was locked with a padlock and a large gold chain. He couldn't have called his maid – Youra, to open the door to Ji Soo's room.

With one hand, he held the chain, and Nam Joo Hyuk easily broke the chain which immediately let out a rustling sound. It didn't take long for Nam Joo Hyuk to open the door.

Something hard had hit Nam Joo Hyuk's head. The food tray is made of stainless steel and held in Ji Soo's hands. It seemed that the young girl had been hiding behind the door for a long time.

"Huh… you…?!"

Nam Joo Hyuk looked at the tray of food that was still being held high by Ji Soo.

The food tray is curved in the middle. What surprised Ji Soo was Nam Joo Hyuk's reaction because the man seemed fine. If Nam Joo Hyuk was an ordinary human, he would scream in pain, or at worst he would be unconscious due to Ji Soo's crushing blow.

Ji Soo was scared but she still held the tray of food high.

"Who are you really?" Ji Soo asked as she stepped back because Nam Joo Hyuk was looking at her with a sinister look.

"Don't come near me!" threatened Ji Soo started to panic. She pointed the useless tray at Nam Joo Hyuk.

Ji Soo's face still looks worried, she just keeps stepping back until she doesn't realize there is a wall that restricts her movement.

Just when Ji Soo wanted to hit with the food tray. Right then, both of her wrists were held in Nam Joo Hyuk's hand.

"Don't touch me! Let go of me!" said Ji Soo, thrashing around.

Nam Joo Hyuk didn't care. He just grabbed the collar of the nightgown Ji Soo was wearing. He tore off the collar easily to reveal Ji Soo's right shoulder.

"What do you want to do?!" Ji Soo was surprised because she saw Nam Joo Hyuk open his mouth so that dangerous big canines were visible.

"I have to do this!" said Nam Joo Hyuk seriously in a deep voice that sounded scary.

"No! Let me go!" Ji Soo shouted.

It's useless for Ji Soo to scream. It's useless for Ji Soo to try to fight back because Nam Joo Hyuk was already looking wildly at her right shoulder.

Even though there was already a scar left on his shoulder.

There was no doubt for Nam Joo Hyuk, as he had stuck his sharp fangs.

The screams of pain from Ji Soo's voice were so shrill. That made anyone who heard Ji Soo's screams get goosebumps.

A flash of white light mixed with blue appeared when Nam Joo Hyuk had not yet removed his fangs from Ji Soo's shoulders.

Finally, Nam Joo Hyuk let go of Ji Soo's shoulders, and Ji Soo's body lay on the floor with a pale and helpless face with blood still gushing out.

"I almost… almost… I couldn't control myself!" said Nam Joo Hyuk while wiping Ji Soo's blood from his mouth.

"What… what have you done to me? It hurts… it hurts so bad," Ji Soo stammered.

"I tagged you, Ji Soo. Because I married you," said Nam Joo Hyuk as he approached Ji Soo's body and lifted her off the floor.

At that time, Ji Soo could hear Nam Joo Hyuk's explanation. It was just that her body still felt weak and she couldn't rebel.

Nam Joo Hyuk put Ji Soo's body on the bed, and at that moment, the bedroom door opened with Youra's presence looking panicked.

"Huh!!! Prince Nam? What have you done?" Youra asked as she stared in horror at Ji Soo, who lay helpless and covered in blood.

"Youra! Look at me! Tell me, what's wrong?" Nam Joo Hyuk's loud voice made Youra focus back on Nam Joo Hyuk.

"Ohh… Prince Nam? There's a group of people who just arrived. And Miss Suzy is facing them all," Youra explained as she approached Ji Soo's bed.

"Unexpectedly, they came earlier. Who dares to betray?" Nam Joo Hyuk groaned in annoyance.

"You treat the wound. Don't let her lose a lot of blood," said Nam Joo Hyuk giving orders.

"Well… very well, Prince Nam," Youra replied nervously and saw Ji Soo's face getting paler.

"I'm going to take care of all these geeks!" said Nam Joo Hyuk groaning and annoyed as he left Ji Soo's room.
