The giants, despite their colossal size and strength, were helpless against this onslaught. Whenever the silver and golden lions made their lightning-fast dashes, the giants faltered, unable to land a single blow. The beastmen's strikes targeted the giants' limbs, causing severe damage and, in some horrifying instances, severing entirely the limbs.
What was perhaps most unsettling was the apparent lack of interest these lion beastmen had in devouring their fallen foes. Unlike typical predators, they did not exhibit any intent to feast upon the giants they incapacitated. Instead, their expressions held a disdainful aloofness, as though they considered this violent raid to be a menial task beneath them.
