With his newly modified spear in hand, Kane hurried toward the entrance of the forest. Along the way, he easily dispatched any monsters that dared to challenge him. His skills had improved significantly, and he moved through the forest with speed and precision.
Finally, he reached the area near the entrance just as the sun was starting to set on the horizon. The enemies were only five hundred meters away, and he could see their figures in the distance. However, to his relief, they had stopped walking after covering three hundred more meters.
"I guess they are being cautious… this shouldn't be an unusual thing for them to do," Kane thought.
Kane's mind was filled with strategic calculations as he waited for the enemies to enter the forest. He knew that darkness would be their ally, but it would also be his. He counted on the element of surprise to give them an advantage in the upcoming battle.
