That's not good...

Hiro and the family appeared in a middle age-esque city.

Hiro looked around and hummed before bringing them out of the alley. He looked at the vendor streets, everyone started looking at him strangely and there was a hint of animosity in their eyes. Hiro chuckled and looked at the people saying "Looks like they don't like the way we look, Angel."

Zerotwo rolled her eyes and said "Who cares." Isabella looked at the people and roared, scaring them away as she laughed. Hiro smacked her head and said "What are you doing." Isabella spat out her tongue and replied "They're scared of the horns... It's fun to watch them run away."

Hiro shook his head and they passed a boy and a girl, Hiro and the boy's eyes met and they both widened. Hiro continued walking away, bringing the rest with him as the boy looked in a daze. The girl had red hair and said "Sir Hero, is everything alright?"

The boy blinked and said "Yeah... Let's go level up." still in somewhat of a dazed state.

Hiro looked around and he was sure of it when he saw a weapons shop. He clicked his tongue and muttered "This is going to make things difficult..." Zerotwo tilted her head and asked "What is, Darling?" Hiro mumbled "There's a lot of people that deserve to be slaughtered here. I don't know if I can hold back." he chuckled and Zerotwo rolled her eyes.

Hiro smiled, but he was extremely serious on the inside. There was something even bigger that he couldn't tell her. They went to a restaurant across the street from the weapons shop and sat down to eat. Hiro ordered food and was immersed in his thoughts.

If nothing was wrong, this was The Rising of the Shield Hero world. This was the main problem. The problem wasn't danger or anything like that, it was the Heroes themselves. Hiro was deadly serious, judging from Naofumi's expression, it can be assumed that he recognized him.

Which was worst case scenario.

If Naofumi recognized him, it meant that the world where Naofumi comes from was really earth, but if it was the same earth as him, Hiro wasn't sure. Regardless, recognizing him meant one thing. Hiro frowned, he knows what Darling in the Franxx is.

This was the bad part, if Naofumi recognized him because of this then most likely the other heroes would recognize him as well. He wasn't sure as, from his knowledge, they were all from different versions of Earth.

The problem was, that one slip of the tongue from any of the 4 and he had an existential crisis on his hands. He had no way of knowing whether Zerotwo could take it or not. Knowing that you were made from someone else, has to be something nobody wants to know.

If it was him, he wouldn't care. If he was being honest, whether he was made or not wasn't his concern. But for Zerotwo... He had no idea, basically she was made by Dr. Franxx, she brushed that off, not caring at all, but having the entire world just be a story someone came up with and having million and millions of people knows about it. That was much different than confirming your existence as a clone from someone else.

He wasn't a clone, so he had no idea how it felt to find out that you were. He was pretty shocked that there was an Edolas him, but that was about it. He didn't have an existential crisis because of it, then again, not really too much bothered him.

He ate silently and Zerotwo frowned, asking "Darling, what's wrong?" Hiro blinked and said "Nothing! I was thinking about something, that's all." she pursed her lips and looked at him, he smiled warmly and she said "Okay..." not believing him at all.

She didn't like him keeping secrets from her, it felt like he didn't trust her. She couldn't handle that. She took his hand and smiled gently, writing 'Can you tell me later?' Hiro nibbled on his lips and looked at her gentle smile, struggling internally.

He finally relented and wrote 'Ok.' She smiled happily and went back to eating. Hiro ate silently and Isabella looked at them before asking "What's your deal?" Hiro replied "My deal is your plate isn't finished. If you don't eat it all, I'll give you a nice spanking. Miss 'I'm 18 years old and the rules don't apply to me anymore'."

Isabella pouted and Hiro said "Eat." Yami said "Yeah! Eat! Haha!" Isabella glared at him and Yami pulled his eyelid and stuck out his tongue. Eri ate happily and said softly "It's not as good as daddy's..." the rest grunted in agreement.

Hiro smiled happily and they finished their meal.

They left the restaurant and went to an inn, grabbing a single room for 4. He sat down on the bed and said "Isabella, go give Eri and Yami a bath please. Mittens go with her." Isabella was sitting sideways in a chair reading a book and looked at him, he added "Now." she clicked her tongue and put the book down, taking the others with her.

Hiro looked at Zerotwo and took a deep breath before saying "I want you to calm down first of all, because this isn't really a problem when you think about it logically and from a religious perspective it's the same with everything. Technically." Zerotwo rolled her eyes and said "Just get on with it, please."

Hiro took her hands and looked into her eyes saying "In my previous life, which I've told you about before, there's this thing called Anime. There's a specific one called 'Darling in the Franxx'. The main character is Hiro and Zerotwo, get what I'm saying here? In my previous world, you're a drawing made from people without powers."
