ZHANG JUNFENG

When the man noticed a friendly smile on Wang Wei's face he couldn't help but tremble.

He had known Wang Wei for 10 years. One can call them childhood friends but he still didn't fully know Wang Wei, sometimes he seems like a fool, easygoing and harmless, however, he sometimes felt that the man in front of him is the beast who will rip him apart if he crosses the line.

And he knew Wang Wei is the most dangerous when he had a friendly and gentle smile on his face. The more gentle he look at you the more your life is in danger.

The man didn't know what he did wrong and was raking his brain to find the reason.

While the man and Wang Wei were exchanging friendly greetings, Li Jun was also studying the man.

The man was a messy type but the thing he noticed wasn't that but the plant insignia on his wrinkled white robe.

"Wang... hubby, won't you introduce us? Is he your colleague?" Li Jun's soft and melodious voice perfectly turn the attention of both man to him.

Wang Wei wasn't able to react for a bit. It was the first time his wife has called him Hubby without him urging him to do it. He was ecstatic.

Wang Wei was about to rub Li Jun's hair, but before he could stretch his hand an annoying voice startled him.

"Hubby? Wang Wei when did you get married? Why haven't I heard a word from you? How can you not invite your friend?" the man fires question after question. He looked disappointed and sad.

No one knew about their marriage except them... well only a few like the doctor Wang Wei was looking for to treat Li Jun, who didn't treat him knowing he was a manaless person. So, how could Zhang Junfeng know who was out of town with his fellow colleagues?

"It's not that Wang Wei didn't want to invite you, it's just that we married in hurry. I was in a problem and he helped me by marrying me. Don't look sad and please don't be angry with Wang Wei," Seeing Wang Wei has no intention of explaining, Li Jun explained the situation.

He didn't want Wang Wei's friend to be angry with him because of him(LJ). Once he left Wang Wei, it will be these friends who will help him.

"Why are you saying that, JunJun? I married you because I fell in love with you at first sight and wanted to make you mine. It isn't your fault. It is mine, for taking advantage of your weakness and marrying you in the name of you repaying me. Don't ever say, I married just because I wanted to help you," Wang Wei pleadingly looked at Li Jun.

"Oh! It's like that. JunJun doesn't worry, since, Wang Wei married you, he won't ever let anyone point your fingers at you and will take full responsibility for you. And, by the way, I go by the name Zhang Junfeng. I am your husband's friend. If he ever bullies you, tell me, I will deal with him," the man who just introduced himself as Zang Junfeng patted Li Jun's shoulder to reassure him of Wang Wei's morality.

"Who are you calling JunJun? Call him Li Jun or brother-in-law and don't get handsy with him and maintain at least a 2-metre gap between you two, while you are talking with him," Wang Wei swat the hands on his wife's shoulder and glared at his friend for being over friendly.

"I just patted his shoulder and we are all here male, don't be too petty. He is my brother-in-law and it is easy to be this friendly," Zhang Junfeng pouted while complaining.

"Why are you pouting like a child? so disgusting. You are 25 years old for goodness sake! You should act your age," Wang Wei's face scrunched up in disgust.

"What can I do? You won't act like your age, so I have to do it instead of you," Zhang Junfeng stuck his tongue at Wang Wei.

"Li Jun, you don't know, this man may look easygoing and all but he rarely opens his heart to anyone. He is too mature for his own good. I have known him since he was 10 years old and all up to now he has done everything by himself. We are old friends but even then he won't let me help him when he needed. Please be kind to him" Zhang Junfeng unpretentiously asked Li Jun to look after a person he had thought of as his brother.

".... I will," Li Jun hesitate a bit, nonetheless, he agreed at last.

"Who needs your concern and I am the one to protect my wife, my wife just needs to let me pamper him and enjoy life," before Zhang Junfeng could speak and show his gratitude, Wang Wei gently pulled his wife towards him.

"You don't deserve kindness. You bitter man!" Wang Wei ignored Zhang Junfeng's little tantrum. He was busy catering to his wife's needs.

"JunJun, lean on me. You are too tired and give that bag to me, I will carry it," Wang Wei worriedly asked Li Jun to lean on him and try to take the bag containing plants and seeds from Li Jun's hands.

Li Jun didn't want to hand over the bag to Wang Wei, he was worried Wang Wei would mistakenly crush of the Mana gathering plant.

"Host, if you are worried, then send it to your space. Not only it will be protected from being mistakenly crushed it will also absorb some pure mana from the space further increasing the amount of mana in it," DuoDuo who has been silent all along came online to help his precious host.

Li Jun acted promptly. He touch the mana-gathering plant and thought of it being inside the space. The moment he thought of it being inside, the mana-gathering plant enter the space vanishing completely from the bag.

"Ok, then carry it but please be careful with it," Li Jun nodded his head and handed over the bag he was holding to his hubby.

"Li Jun, Wang Wei, did you find something worth spending money on? Tell me, what you bought," Zhang Junfeng was surprised to see the bag handed to Wang Wei.
