The whole city was in the uproar as the huge dragon-like creature rose from the sea and made its way towards the city, behind it 0 of the monsters marched towards the city.

Standing on the top of a building a black haired middle-aged man looked at the monsters approaching the city with helpless eyes.

*sigh* "So this is our end? Tch"

He sighed looking at the dragon which opened his mouth and shot an energy ball towards the city. No guards or soldiers were able to react as they watched the ball slowly shoot towards the city, the energy barrier stopped the ball but slowly cracks started to form and the whole shield shattered like a glass.

The energy ball went straight towards the city and created a massive explosion followed by a massive flash which put the souls of the people in the city in an eternal sleep and their bodies disintegrated.

Before dying Lucifer saw his status once again but before his mind could register it he was embraced by the death.

Hearing the announcement Lucifer woke up and opened his eyes, looking at the crowd around him and looking at the rush of the people to leave the train he was confused.

'Whats going on here? Didn't I die after the wild dragon attacked me W-wait is this old train before the merger?'

He was very confused looking at the scene in front of him he raised his hands to grab the seat in front of him and looked down at his hands he was shocked.

Looking at his hands which were his true arms nor the prosthetic ones he got more surprised, he didn't know what was going on but after a few seconds of calming down he realised that he travelled back in time, a year before the merger happened and how it was all thanks to his useless skill.

Looking at the people leaving he didn't waste any more of his time and grabbed his bags and left the train.

There is still time for his ride to come so he just sat and waited in the nearby cafe.
