I could only curse seeing the appearance of a beast chasing a group of rat's.

Its body towered over 4 meters, it had long limbs and was bipedal. The lanky body of a beast made it look hideous, since most of its black fur was covered in blood or wounded by various scars.

The Head of the beast was one of the most terrifying things I've seen through my two lifetimes. His face was that of a deer's skull with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth that were constantly colliding with each other while the monster was running. The creature also had two round flame-like eyes and two deer horns growing from the top of his head.

Catching up to the first rat the beast used its massive claws to slice the rat in half, immediately ending its life. As soon as it did its deed I saw it rip and devour as much flesh from the dead body as it possibly could before chasing after the other rats.
