Chapter 6 Reunification of the Dragons Part 5 Targon's Final Trial

Targon with Draconis help manage to gather the support from the Sea Serpents, Wyrms, Drakes and the Wyverns but before Targon can prepare for the battle with Stendhal there was one more thing that Targon need hearing this it made Targon curious ask Draconis what else does he need to which Draconis explain the item Targon need is what made the dragon what they are today, after think for a few second Targon realizes Draconis is talking about the Aurathon. After hearing the name of the item Targon needs everyone is curious about what is the Aurathon to which Targon explains is the most powerful crystal in this world then state the Equestria also knows by another name the primal Diamond. After hearing Aurathon and Primal Diamond are one and the same. Everyone would then ask Draconis were would Targon find to which Draconis state Aurathon is in the Ashlands to all the dragons surprise because going to the Ashland is a death sentence for dragon. Everyone the asks Draconis how did the Aurathon came to be and how many people in history have wielded, Draconis would explain only he alone has ever wielded it and after fallout of his sons war the Aurathon decided that it would bestow it's power to one who has been deem worth by the Aurathon itself, hear this shocked everyone which leads everyone to ask is the Aurathon alive which Targon discovered it over his time in the human, Targon also discovered that the Aurathon was created from fragments of the primordials souls and all sentient beings who came before, when used properly the Primestones gives it's users unlimited energy, power of healing and longevity as it grew it developed a consciousness of it's, Aurathon and Primestones knew that there would be those who try to use the power of the crystals as a weapon thus would lead them both to going it hiding until some like Draconis came along someone had the wisdom and understanding of how to use the Aurathon and Primestones properly. Targon, Draconis and all the people who accompanied home would arrive in the Ashlands specifically the mountain overlooking the Ashlands. After landing at the base of the mountain and it is here were Targon would face his final and biggest trial. As everyone was about to head towards the cave at the base of the mountain were the Aurathon was located. The cave did not just had the Aurathon inside the cave was also the resting place of Draconis sons, queen and his sword which was the key to gaining the Aurathon because the sword hold a fragment of the Aurathon in the guard which is called the Arkurnisstone. As the group was heading toward the cave they were stopped by some voices then see some figures coming towards them, then figures are revealed to be the a version of group but they seem different, it is revealed that the people in front of Targon's group are the groups inner demons. Targon's group would then fight against their inner demons, while everyone is fighting their inner demon little did they all know the Draconis knows what is going on which was to see if Targon is worth to wield the Aurathon. As the fight goes on the group manage to defeat their inner demon with only Targon who is struggling against his inner demon at but then see the everyone was safe could now focus on his own fight which he manages to win but not in the same way the group defeat their inner demons. Targon would by defeat his inner demon by accept that his inner demon will always be apart of him. Targon's inner demon would disappear or more accurately return into Targon's body then the group enter the cave to investigate the light that is coming from inside the cave, as the group enters the cave to investigate the source of the light find it coming from a sword that is embedded deep in a stone, as the group got closer the light began shrink then everyone heard voices, after looking around to find were those voices are coming from then Targon saw the beings of the mysterious voices which turned out to be the spirits of the nine primordials shocking everyone. The primordials and Draconis would state that Targon has passed the test which made everyone curious at first but then realized that duel everyone just fought in was in reality Targon's trial to see if he was worth of wielding the Aurathon, but the everyone except Draconis and the primordials were shock at Targon because he was laughing then Targon would state something even more stocking to them the last thing I am is worth. Draconis would be the one to respond to Targon's statement now why would say that to which Targon respond with an angered tone stating that nothing he has done has matter. After hear Targon's statement the group that came with Targon were shock as would so many because unbeknownst to Targon the people he came with when he decided to return home brought with an prototype interdimensional camera to document Targon to see his true nature so they could better understand him, Sunset would be the one to ask Targon why would you say something like that to which explains that his time in the human he learned while a small amount of people can change but the not all people are capable of change also stating that even if they defeat Stendhal and his allies the dragons would once again become divided and the humans would try to misuse the technology he created which would lead to their destruction just like in that alternate version of Targon except there would be even more deaths and would take them even longer for them to rebuild their world. Draconis would then ask Targon you think yourself unworthy because you feel like you have not made a difference then would say if I say you have made a difference in the lives of the people who are currently alive would you believe it to which Targon says he would but the only reason why he kept moving forward is because of the people he cares about who still also stating that they are the only reason Targon has for living. After hearing Targons explanation about how much he values his old subordinates, former services, his family, employees and Sunset. Sunset the relies asking that is what were are to you somethings worth living for to which Targon confirms which moved everyone who is close to Targon, Draconis then would state that Targon has made more of an impact then he realizes which Draconis would show him the true history of the human world the history Targon helped to shape. Draconis would show how every person Targon saved throughout human world history went on to save others, Targon would then see a symbol that he has not seen for a long time which Targon explains to the group that it is the order of the dragon prism also stating he has only heard the name once then nine people stepped forward four of them Targon recognized as Miria, Duncan Macleod, Cian O'Neill and Gwen Griffiths but did not expect to see then here of all place even surprising to Targon that the four have not aged a day he met the at Liam's funeral to which they explain that Liam was Duncan's, Cian's and Gwen's father shocking everyone even Targon who had no knowledge about it, then Miria would explain that she was Reinhard and Joan of Arc child shocked everyone especially Targon because he did know that Reinhard had save Joan life. The other five individuals the first to introduce himself was Darius Valerius the son of Targon clone that died when Rome fell to the Ostrogothics, the second would be Jin Ke the son of Kiem Sun, the third to introduce himself was Ardeth Bay the son the clone who died as Medjay and the final two to introduce themselves were Haruto and Hinata Yamamoto the children of Tora Yamamoto. Sunset the realizes that Targon's thirteen clone were in a way like his sons which makes the nine people in front Targon his grandchildren. Then suddenly the people who Targon had saved began to appear then some historical figures that Targon had befriended also began to appear and even a few of the religions leaders like Zoroaster, Siddhartha Gautama, Mossis, Christ, Confucius, Laozi and even some Shinto priest. All the people that appeared before Targon were not illusions but the souls of the people Targon has touched they would state that Targon has had made a difference in their lives as well as the nation in the human world. They would tell the tales of the lost monarchs which made everyone curious to which they would show them who they are talking about start with king Atreus of Sparta which shocked everyone because Atreus was the name Targon used twenty years after king Leonidas death, during his ten year reign king Atreus made many reforms some of which allowed foreigners to join the Spartan military after swearing loyalty to Sparta first, king Atreus would allow women to become part of the military but only as intelligence agents and would also create a new education system to improve Sparta people even turning Sparta into a Meritocracy, even after Targon left Sparta no one would ever forget Atreus the reformer. During the Roman empire Crisis of the Third Century Targon under the Marius Remus was made regent for thirty years during which he made Hispania, Gaul and Britannia vassal states and would make an iron clad decree. During his time in China after the fall of the Zhou dynasty and between Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period created the Long dynasty and would govern for twenty years then would leave it in the hands of the people he trusted, for centuries the Long dynasty have ruled China from the shadows in order make sure it guided down the right path. During his time in the American revolution while using the name Riker Phoenix had made exclusive trade deals with the nations of Portugal, Spain, France, Prussia, Holland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway as well using some of the fortune to help pay off Amercia's debt, with the trade deals and Riker's generous donation America managed to pay off it's debt in only a month which would lead Riker Phoenix to become the first finance minister of the United States. Targon would then be shown by his grandchild via the cameras they brought with them to show him the people who are loyal to him alone and his follows. Targon would see that his followers in the human bare a mark of the dragon one their faces while those who are loyal to Targon alone have two marks of the dragon on their faces, then Targon was surprised to learn that a third of the human population are his followers while another third is loyal to Targon alone and both followers and loyalists are growing in numbers the Targon hears a voice he never thought he would hear again which was the voice of his grandfather who was proud of what Targon had achieved then would state something that would shock everyone hearing it that we are a dying people not just the Dragoons but all dragons and so are the demon obsessed with revenge and death in the form of war until war and death is all we deserve to which Targon states that it was Grogar who start but I will not be the one to continue it because I know if I do the dragons and the demons would be come a dead race with no cares about which deserves the blame, Targon would also state that he has a responsibility to honour Thoron's name to which Targon's grandfather states that you have honoured it well also state that you broke the cycle by choosing peace and life then suddenly Thoron would appear to Targon's surprise. Targon would ask his father how is he here and why appear now to which explains that Targon was not yet ready, Thoron would then explain that Targon was given an opportunity choose a path that would lead to something greater, nobler and more difficult then any one has been before which Targon seize. Thoron would then explain why he choose to protect Targon until he was old enough to protect himself because of three reason, the first was that Thoron decided that he would be the father Targon needed after seeing Targon standing up to his bullies, the second reason was in Targon Thoron saw the someone who would be able to surpass him and the third reason was that as Thoron saw his son grow up he discovered that Targon was the only hope for their people. The primordials would interject stating that the reason why every race in this world and the human fight was because after sharing a piece of the souls they also inherited their desire to fight against those who carried the pieces of the souls of rival primordial, Targon then ask the primordials that the reason why conflicts exist was because of them to which they confirm, they would explain out of all the primordials Chronos was the one to see thing as they because he was the first primordial and the last to die and the real why Targon's family have always chosen the right path was because they had inherited all of Chronos soul after he died, the primordials would explain why the demon are so war like is because the pieces of the primordials soul that called for battle which were amplified by an eruption of their negative emotion combined with their own sinful desires. The primordials would then explain that Targon was this world salvation and the one who would set thing right. Thoron would final state that he learned of a property that foretold that if he did nothing the dragons would become a dead race and if Thoron would fight he would die but his people and his son would live, Thoron would then state that Targon is his one and true son who has been so proud of and always, after hearing that Targon would huge his father while tears run down his face and would thank his father for giving he what he need to heal the hold in his heart. Then the spirits of Targon's clones would appear to return what Targon had given them and saying goodbye to their children then state to their children they while always be with them, the spirits of the clones would turn into light that be absorbed into Targon's body which would then make his heart glow like a prism then Targon would then turn his attention to manifestation of his true nature which appeared after stating he was not worth. The manifestation of Targon which appear in the form of himself as a child who had nothing to live would state it was time for him to leave now to which Targon said I know, while you my be leave I will never for get who I am or were came from then the manifestation disappears which leads Sunset to ask Targon if he is alright to which he state I am I truly am as he turns, he would then open his right eye then would open his scared left eye revealing that it has change surprising everyone that Targon left eye has become like a prism. Draconis would then state now you are ready which leads Targon to walk towards Warfang which was the name of Draconis sword and as he walk closer to it the sword began to glow then as Targon put his hand on the handle the grow brighter then the blade would glow as Targon pulled it out of the stone. After pulling Warfang from the stone a light engulfed causing everyone to exit the cave then a shock wave revealing the Ashlands to be the place were Draconis become who he is today then Targon exits the cave after the shock wave which leads Draconis to state that the king has risen as Targon walking towards the group the all kneeled before the new king of the dragons. Then Sunset noticed that Targon's appearance has change to which he explain that there is a reason for it, he also state I am not the dragon I was when lived in this world nor I am what I became in the human world both experiences have given him a greater clairity, Targon would then use his power to transport the group and Draconis back to Thoronis and would transport the other dragons races. Targon would use he powers to transform Sunset, his clones children and the rest of the people that came with when he returned home, what Targon transformed Sunset and the rest of the people who came with him when he returned home into was the sixth dragon race the Dragonoids and were given the choice to change into the pony form or their new form any time they wished then Targon would do the same with the Sea Serpents, Wyrms, Drakes and Wyverns. The Seas Serpents would become small and gain the ability to come onto land so they will no long hide in isolation, the Wyrms would gain a sturdier build, the Drakes would gain the ability to stand up right and now have intelligence to go with the strength and the Wyverns like the Sea Serpents would be the ones with most physical change now having a similar built to the other dragons with the ability to fold their wing into their arm pits while still being able to fly. The Sea Serpents, Wyrns, Drakes and Wyvern then would swear their undying loyalty to Targon after given them such a gift. The Dragoons had already sworn their loyalty as have the Dragonoids. Targon then would state there is much work ahead for them all but first I think it is time I payed Grogar a visit to which everyone realized that Targon is going to travel to the demon realm.
