Fate

A week passed by, Granger continues to train his marksmanship in goal to defeat Selena, the witch of the shadow abyss. Despite his decision to hunt down demons, he cannot stop thinking about Selena. He was confused on why she let him live when he is a threat to the demon clan, and when she can let him meet his demise then and there. Granger, standing in one of the spot in the firing range, shoots the targets appearing continuously with his bullets and finished in mere fifteen seconds. He shook his head and frown because he knew that it's not enough.

A guy whistled. He looked back to see Alucard leaning against a wall. "Precise shooting." He commented. Granger begin to wrap his things up. "No. It's not nearly enough. I need to finish this targets in at least five seconds if I want to match that witch." He said. Alucard motioned himself towards Granger and looked at his things. "Was she really that strong?" He asked holding Granger's gun. "The witch has two forms, her demon form, is perilous. In a blink of an eye, she was behind me. I can't even begin to think when did that happen." He said snatching his gun from Alucard. "Hmm." Alucard patted Granger's shoulder. "Let's spar tomorrow." Alucard left the shooting range.

Selena is sitting at a tree branch a bit far from where Granger is staying and eating an apple. Her abyssal demon talked to her with their minds. "Child you need to stop doing this worthless things." Her eyes gleamed of anger. "Worthless you say? Who are you to order me around? Why don't I tear you into shreds." She took a bite on her apple. "Our forces are getting slimmer because of those damn demon hunters. You should be governing the abyss. You should be working on your plan to get to the moon elf king. And not wandering like this." She took another bite. "You better shut your damn mouth now. As I've told you, the dark forces will never disappear as long that the beings of the light contains darkness in their hearts." She looked to the place Granger is staying at. "I want to experience this entertainment a bit longer....." She sighed. "Before we crossed blades."

Her abyssal demon sighed. "Child, 'he' is coming back. You better pull yourself together immediately." Selena sighed then looked upon the night sky. "Say, why does the moon seem so warm to me?" Her abyssal demon did not reply. She jumped out of the tree to walk around.

A strong wind passed by and her hood was blown. Her rosy hair and demon horns glimmer in the moon light with her majestic red eyes.

A person with hood attacked her from behind. Luckily, her abyssal demon appeared and blocked the attack before her attacker hit her. Her attacker jumped backwards with blades in both hands. Selena turned to her attacker. "What business do you have with me?" Her voice toned with anger. "Selena?" A woman's voice was heard.

"Hmm? You know me?" Selena asked. The wind blew her attacker's hood and revealed a woman elf with horns and skin tinged with purple. It was Selena's sister, Karina. Tears started to form in Karina's eyes at the sight of her beloved sister once again. Though Selena's appearance changed quite a bit, she will never forget how her sister looked like. "Selena.... " She mumbled. "My sister...." Tears started to stream down her face.

Selena giggled sarcastically. "Sister?" She looked at her abyssal demon. "What is she talking about?" Karina's face shows confusion. "Can't you remember me? I am your sister Selena!" She dropped her blades to try and get near of Selena but her abyssal demon stopped her.

The demon know full well that Selena was a sacrifice but it doesn't know anything about her past. "I don't know child. We should not be wasting time about her non-sense."

Selena stared at Karina. "I could kill you in an instant but somehow I don't feel like doing so. Do not bother me again with your non-sense, because if you do, I will tear you into shreds." She turned back to leave but gave another glance to Karina that keeps calling her name to stop her from leaving but her abyssal demon continue to block her. She knew that it isn't just that she doesn't feel like killing her, but she couldn't kill her. It was like something stops her from doing so but she doesn't know what. She fixes her hood and left.
