The Close Deal

We all breathed in absorbing all that Gabby Just said.

Gabby looks at our pale faces " What?"

she's asking the obvious "See! guys, I know this mission is dangerous but I believe in our team spirit. we are brave enough and strong besides he's a bad guy that harms the innocent's. what do you guys say!" she said her eyes pleading.

" Well, Gabby if am getting this right, the main plan is to trap him on his own game and extoll money from him, if the plan went successful. we are made massive rich, but... if not we are..." I finish the last words using my hand to demonstrate the neck cut on my neck. we all laugh at the scary joke.

Larry smirks and glances at his girlfriend.

"What do you say, babe, we need an accurate plan here!" Gina held her jaw with her palm and a devilish grin cast on her pretty face which gave us all goosebumps.

She glances at me "What??" I ask her because I know that looking at her it's not good news.

" KISHA, you will be our number one option. I doubt it, if this Corbett guy, can escape your jade beauty it's undeniable" Gina speaks like what she's saying is an easy task to do.

I gulp down almost choking on my cigarette smoke. Gabby snatch my cigarettes and dabs them on the ashtray "You do realize, that you are a woman! you should deviate from smoking, you should stop!" she loves scolding me despite being close in age. I only stare at her tongue-tied with my watery eyes.

"Back to business," Larry said. " Kia, Gina is right, your job is to make John Corbett notice you." I stare at Larry's words my jaw drops to the ground. But he continues with what he's saying like it's just some normal thing.

" I know it's not an easy mission but we got this" he smiles with confidence.

" But the information says he likes Minor's, hello...., he needs to be trapped with a minor" I voice every word.

Gabby grabs my hand "You don't need to worry about that Kia, just do play your role, I trust you in this" gabby said giving my hand a gentle squeeze.

I slump on my sit " Whatever!" I raise my hand to drag a smoke and remember that Gabby took it away.

I stretch my fingers to the table to collect another stick but Gabby was fast enough to shove it to the other side of the table.

I glare blazing at her, angry but she gave me the look of don't you even think about it.

We ended the discussion by agreeing to meet again for the final arrangements.

going home after my hangout with my friends

I walk so tiredly towards our house. On getting close to our house, I heard someone calling my name behind me.

I stop on my track and glanced in the direction of the voice owner. " KISHA girl seems you just got home." Mrs. Wilson our neighbor said as she walked toward me with her dog. it seems she was having a walk with her dog before she saw me. I nod my head at her.

She came a bit closer to me smiling" KISHA I heard noises from your compound in the afternoon, hope all is well, I would have to ask your mum but I have not seen her ever since. Then I saw Mr. White man leaving afterward"

I can't help but yearn at every word she's babbling. I knew she intend to dig into our family affairs. and probably use it as her blog hit stories.

She stood looking at me expectantly " We are perfectly fine Mrs. Wilson" sarcasm evident in my voice.

But the quidnunc, could not read the signs. " It didn't look that good, are you sure!" she press further. I was already at my limit I glared at her.

"You! should have gone inside yourself to confirm, since you care so much!" I step away from her walking toward our house.

" What was I expecting, like parents like daughter" I heard her whisper behind me. like any other of their fake facade, I scuff at her words.
