##Chapter 34 Nathan's Proposal

Was it a reward for me? Sharon unreservedly picked up chopsticks to eat. It was really delicious, and the material was superior. Sharon ate with relish.

"Is it as good as what's cooked by me?"

Looking at Sharon, Nathan smiled lightly and said jealousy.

Oh, no. He was not a chef. Why did he care about that?

Sharon froze and looked at Nathan, whispering, "The same."

Hearing this, Nathan smiled with satisfaction on his face.

Nathan was a domineering man who wanted Sharon to be happy just because of him.

"After dinner, I'll tell you something important."

"What?"

Sharon became serious. If he said it was important, it must be important. She put her chopsticks on the table and stared at Nathan solemnly.

"No hurry. Eat first."

Nathan was thinking about how to talk with Sharon about it. Sharon saw the hesitation on his face,

"Say it. I have eaten so much that I am no longer hungry."

The more he was like this, the more curious Sharon became. She had never seen him like this before, so it must be something unusual, or something about her perhaps.

Yeah, he was only so cautious about things that concerned Sharon and the Evans family.

"Tell me. I'm ready. Whatever it is, I can take it."

Sharon's words made Nathan raise his head from the moment. He looked straight at her.

"Nothing special. Don't be so nervous."

The more he was like this, the more unusual she felt.

Sharon stared straight at Nathan intently and attentively, waiting to know what Nathan would tell her.

Nathan seemed to be surprised by her solemn seriousness. Was that what women were like?

"I've just heard from a friend that Renata, your sister, is looking for you."

Hearing this, Sharon sneered and nodded gently, "I know they won't give up easily. I didn't expect she could find this place so soon."

"Yeah, so be careful when you come here. Maybe you can show up as someone else."

What? What did it mean to be someone else?

Staring at Nathan, Sharon was confused. She was the elder daughter of the Evans family. Although she left the Evans family, it didn't change who she was. Now she had married Nathan, so she had a new identity as his wife. Except for these, she didn't have other identities.

Nathan watched her in meditation and stirred the coffee constantly with the spoon in his hand.

"I don't quite understand what you're saying. Do you mean to announce our marriage? It won't work. She won't give a director a shit."

In Renata's mind, Nathan was still a director.

Renata was the wife of a director of the company. This position didn't work except indicating she had a husband.

After saying that, Sharon found that Nathan didn't say anything, so she explained immediately, "I am not despising you. I am sorry."

Nathan nodded and smiled at Sharon. Now he was the director. So there was nothing wrong with her analysis. He clasped his hands and folded them on the table, looking at Sharon. His meaningful look made Sharon confused.

"You change an identity. You are not Sharon from now on but Sophie, the director of Genui Group, who has just returned from an internship abroad."

Nathan said it in a moderate tone, but he was serious. From his tone, Sharon knew that it was not a momentary proposal. He must have thought it through before he brought it up.

"What do you mean?"

Sharon asked seriously. She looked at Nathan confusedly. Change an identity? She could change the name, but what about her face?

Nathan nodded to him and looked confident. He roughly told the matter again.

Sharon listened silently, sometimes frowning slightly, sometimes nodding gently. She was serious, carefully looking at Nathan.

"Counterplot."

Sharon repeated it silently. Looking at Nathan, she carefully considered his proposal.

"Cliff won't lie to me. He said he had seen Sharon in Ginder Manor. There must be nothing wrong."

Renata sat in the office and spent the whole afternoon thinking about how to deal with Sharon. Sharon's presence used to put the family's assets at risk.

Now, the president of Genui Group saved Sharon, which made Renata more uneasy. Renata wanted to be the president's wife, so she would not let Sharon mess with her plan.

"No, I must have her monitored. I don't believe I can't find her."

Renata's nails were long. She clutched a copy of the document, and she looked more and more fierce and decisive.

Because Sharon was the elder daughter in the Evans family and her status was above Renata, Renata dared not neglect Sharon.

Sharon now had some relationship with the president of Genui Group, whom Renata was interested in. This time, Renata would kill Sharon.

The page in her hand had been torn into a mass. She looked down at it and then threw it away fiercely. Her red lips, the heavy eye shadow, and the determination in her cold eyes made her a little seductive.

Back to the company in the afternoon, Sharon was still worried about Glenn. After all, it was not easy for him to walk away from a tough woman. Besides, she didn't know the reason.

Nathan seemed not to care about Glenn, so Sharon did not mention him to Nathan.

Sharon hadn't seen Glenn the whole afternoon. She guessed that Glenn really had something to deal with, so he didn't come to work.

Sitting in the president's office, Nathan was still thinking about the plan he had said to Sharon. He was a little hesitant, drumming his fingers on the desk. His eyes were fixed on the surveillance footage, but his attention was clearly not on it.

Should he do this or not? This was the best way for now, but there were risks. What if something went wrong?

Nathan's mind was in turmoil, but he had never been like this before. He had never struggled like this.

Nathan thought, "Am I really that worried about her?"

He wanted to help her, but he also wanted Sharon to be safe and within sight all the time.

When Sharon worked in the afternoon, she looked at the data absent-mindedly. She had been considering Nathan's plan.

It was the only chance. She should try it.

The day of the birthday party recurred to Renata's mind. The big screen showed some unsightly images to discredit her. Everyone laughed at her. Renata and her mother wanted her dead.
