##Chapter 33 It Was a Woman

"I know the former owner of Ginder Manor. But I haven't seen the new owner. He's very mysterious."

Hearing Sharon had appeared in Ginder Manor, Renata began to plan something for Ginder Manor.

The boss was mysterious, so she had to ask others to do it.

...

"How are you? Tired?"

"No."

Nathan seriously looked at Sharon. As her boss and the president of this company, he was satisfied with her working attitude. But in his eyes, she was his wife worthy of loving.

So Nathan naturally treated Sharon with more consideration and tenderness.

Sharon got the data in order, smiled, and got up to walk to him.

"I've learned a lot these days. But I don't know when I'll be able to handle the cases."

She said as she walked out of the office. When she went downstairs, she saw Glenn and a woman. Nathan felt strange, but he did not intend to get involved. Employees should have their own privacies.

Glenn, however, saw Sharon and Nathan coming from a distance and cried out, "Help."

A man was molested by a woman?

They stopped and looked at Glenn in confusion. The woman glared at them and said fiercely, "Don't step in."

Step in? Hell no, they were just standing and watching.

But Glenn and Nathan were friends. Nathan would not sit back. Sharon said then, "Calm down. Don't push him."

"Push him? I'm his wife. What's it to you?"

The woman showed no weakness, stared at Sharon, still pulled Glenn, and didn't let him go.

What? It was too weird.

Sharon unbelievably looked at Nathan and then directed her gaze to Glenn, hoping to figure it out.

Nathan didn't say anything and take Sharon away directly.

Sharon felt stranger, "Do we walk away like this?" She kept looking back at Glenn.

After they walked for some distance, Nathan stopped and sighed, "If he can't handle a woman, what's the point?"

"Didn't you see that woman keep pestering him? He might have some trouble. Is she really his wife?"

Sharon looked at Nathan strangely and felt puzzled.

Glenn was the secretary of the president and handsome. How could he have such a wife?

"Never mind him. Let's go."

Nathan didn't say anything. With an impatient look on his cool face, he walked straight to the parking lot.

Why? Wasn't Glenn his friend?

Glenn was tangled, but Nathan ignored. Sharon hesitated to help Glenn or followed Nathan. Finally, she caught up with Nathan.

Sitting in the car, she had been uneasy. It seemed that the woman and Glenn were still in her sight.

...

"What's the matter? Where's Rena? She hasn't been to work all the morning."

Marvin asked anxiously and looked at Joyce when he got home.

Joyce froze and sneered, "How could I know? You can call and ask her."

She threw a look at Marvin and walked up the stairs with careless and unhurried steps.

Marvin looked at her back with disgust. Without saying a word, he went directly to his study.

In Ginder Manor, Renata had been sitting in a hidden position, observing the people coming and going, and hoping to see Sharon.

"I believe I can catch you."

Unwillingly, Renata took a sip of orange juice from the table. But she was too upset, so she put it back on the table.

It was almost noon. Should I wait any longer?

She stood up to look at the passing crowd and looked out the window. She didn't see Sharon.

Sharon carried her bag disappointedly and walked toward the exit. When Sharon got to her car, she once more looked back for a while and then had to get in.

"Where are we heading?"

"Have the meal."

Observing the direction of the car, Sharon recognized it was the way toward Ginder Manor.

They parked the car and then went inside together.

"You go to the box, and I'll order first."

Sharon nodded and went to the regular box. Strangely enough, the box was empty. She thought it might be because Nathan ordered it in advance.

"Welcome, Mr. Harris."

The man who was in charge of Ginder Manor was Hodge. He was very close to Nathan but did not often meet with Nathan. Hodge worked carefully. In Nathan's eyes, Hodge was most suitable to manage here.

"I saw your message. Someone was asking about the owner of Ginder Manor, who's it?"

Nathan's voice was very intimidating. He looked serious.

"It's a woman dressed well. You can take a look at her in the surveillance."

A woman?

Nathan went to the surveillance and recognized her immediately.

Renata? Why did she ask about the owner of Ginder Manor?

"What else did she ask?"

Nathan looked at Hodge and listened curiously and carefully.

"And she asked if a woman came here."

After hearing this, Nathan frowned slightly. After a while, he asked, "Was she asking about the girl who came with me?"

Hodge nodded, "Yeah, she also showed us a picture. It was Sharon on the picture."

What did Renata know? Did she know who Ginder Manor's boss was and his relationship with Sharon?

Nathan froze for a moment. Then he asked warily, "How did you deal with her?"

"I told her I hadn't noticed 'cause there were too many guests."

Hodge observed Nathan's expression and became tense. Nathan had a bad temper, and Hodge couldn't predict when Nathan would lose his temper. So Hodge had to be careful about what he said and did.

Nathan nodded gently. If Hodge said he had seen her, he would be questioned. If said no, it was obviously sounded fishy.

"If she comes again and asks the same question, just tell her you're the owner here."

Nathan looked at Hodge and said carefully. Hodge nodded, knowing that this woman would be difficult to deal with.

"Okay, I see."

"Bring some dishes there. I'll go first."

It seemed that something was up to Renata's sleeve. But what did she know?

Nathan felt like it was necessary to have someone to look into it.

"What took you so long?"

"The line is quite long here."

Sharon gently smiled and did not go further. Ginder Manor was indeed bustling with people.

"These are all the dishes you love. Have more. Starting from scratch is no easy-peasy, you know."
