##Chapter 29 Playboy?

"Mr. Harris, Renata Evans from Evans Group is here. She wants to see you."

Renata stood in the reception area. She wore exquisite makeup and Hermes, waiting for a reply.

Nathan answered the call and hesitated for a moment. Sharon was downstairs. He didn't want any mistakes, but he had to carry out his plan.

"Let her in."

Nathan hurried back to the president's office, waiting for Renata there.

"Miss Evans, please."

Renata nodded to the receptionist and stepped into the elevator.

She stopped at the door and checked her makeup.

The lip color was not as bright as last time. The makeup was not as heavy as last time. The foundation was good. It was a perfect face.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled with satisfaction. Then she knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Nathan smiled and looked at Renata, who stepped in. However, his smile was stiff.

Renata was pretty confident. She sat opposite to him without greeting. The man was the president of the company, who had never met someone without an appointment, but he let her in.

"What can I do for you, Miss Evans?"

Nathan asked while looking at her.

Renata stroked her hair in coquetry and said gently, "I'm here to confirm something. You have approved the plan, and when can we bring it on stream?"

Her coquetry made Nathan clench his fist underneath the table. Usually, people who did that in his office would be kicked out.

"I will tell my assistant, and he will inform you. Anything else?"

Renata was slightly confused. Was Nathan asking her to leave?

She then dispelled her doubts and thought about taking the initiative.

"Mr. Harris, call me Rena if you don't mind. When I saw you for the first time, I felt like we should be close friends."

Last time, he said she had nice hands. This time, she stretched out her hand, waiting for a handshake.

Nathan remembered he washed his hands a thousand times after they shook hands the last time. He was unwilling to hold her hand, but he had to.

"Okay. It's just a handshake," he comforted himself in his mind.

Nathan smiled. He held her hand and released her hand as fast as he could.

Renata found her heart racing and thought, "What's going on? Is that a crush? My face is burning."

"Miss Evans, if you don't mind, I have a meeting to attend."

The expression on his face turned soft. His smile, eyes, and face all make Renata infatuated.

She nodded while staring at him. She just couldn't stop staring.

Nathan stood up and said, "Miss Evans, please."

Renata nodded with a melted mind and asked, "Maybe you and I can have a meal when you are available."

It was improper for a girl to ask a man out, but the man deserved it. She could leave all her dignity and manners behind.

Oh, wait. That was exactly her manner. She could leave everything behind for what she wanted.

Nathan nodded and said politely, "Now we have a coffee rain check."

Excitement appeared on her face. She could not conceal her delight.

Renata walked out of his office with a smile on her face. She was cocky and strode with a spring in her step.

She felt like she was already Mrs. Harris.

She felt like she owned the whole company.

Sharon made herself a cup of coffee between jobs. She looked downstairs inadvertently. And a familiar figure caught her eye.

It was Renata Evans with a proud smile.

It looked they had a cordial working relationship.

Sharon thought about the case. Would she be entrusted with the task?

There would be a tough road waiting for Sharon if Mr. President liked Renata.

Sharon knocked when Nathan just got back to his fake office.

"Come in."

The domineering tone shocked Sharon. She calmed down instantly.

"What's wrong? Tired or bored?"

Sharon shook her head and sat on the sofa.

Seeing her sullen look, Nathan frowned and sat next to her.

"Upset? You can tell me about it."

Sharon looked at him, glanced out the door, and asked in a low voice, "Is the Mr. President a playboy?"

Mr. President?

Nathan had mixed feelings. He cleared his throat and said,

"What makes you think so?"

Sharon thought about it and answered in a low voice, "I saw Renata walking out delightedly. She must be cocky because Mr. President likes her. Am I right?"

He calmed his unpeaceful heart and said, "You are pretty observant. Where did you see that?"

She pointed to the window, "I was making coffee. And I saw it through the window."

Nathan nodded slightly, but his heart still pounded. Sharon looked at him and warned,

"Keep it a secret. I don't want to be fired. Gosh, what can I do?"

Seeing her uneasiness, he said in earnest,

"I think even if Mr. President is a playboy, he will woo you rather than Renata."

Sharon glanced at him and thought about his words, "You mean I can woo him. That is a way..."

"What are you thinking!"

Nathan interrupted her thoughts and pointed a finger at her, "Don't ever think about two-timing me. I am your husband. And you are talking about wooing someone else in front of me. What's wrong with you?"

Sharon realized what she said. Men would be furious to hear that, but Nathan was calm. His calm analysis made her bold, "Husband? It's not a de facto marriage. I married you because you can help."

The way he stared at her turned serious, "Get everyone else out of your head, or I will..."

Sharon was shocked by his creepy smile. She stood up and said, "I got work to do." Then, she left his office.
