Desperate for Love: Welcome player

A short flash of light blips, just like our uncontrollable eyelids bat. Although the light was blinding her eyes she causes to drop the phone and rub her eyeballs from the strong light flashing towards her. There was once a blur on her vision until it becomes clear, a clear surprise as she found herself on an unfamiliar place.

She was back from the time were she admired the most. The year where the Spaniards colonized the country. It's not that she was blind from what happened, she just knew it unconsciously or a guess maybe. She was sitting on a silla and it's seems that she was writing a letter using the old pen called pluma in which Rizal used during his days. But something was on the paper. It was written in a cursive and Spanish writing.

Suddenly a flash of gold sentences came out from the page welcoming her on the game. She was surprised to not just see the writings and read it out but it also speaks in an English with Filipino accent way.

" What's happening? Am I in a dream or something? Did I travel back in time."

The narrator on the gold light sentence had polite voice and invited Bria to sign a contract. She then sign it although she was still confused on what's happening. Then after the sign of contract, the voice then introduce himself as AIrturo which is pronounced as arturo. A system that will guide Bria on her game and showing her the process and everything.

"wait what? I'm in a game?"

The system doesn't answer and continue his talking. He explained everything on the rules.

"The game was simple, since everyone on your age knew what is life chose simulation. You just choose from two different choice that will appear just like my appearance and do the action. Let me show you some tutorial."

Then a gold sentence appears on the air presenting two boxes containing the two opposite situation. Continue playing was the first choice and the next one was leave game. Then Airturo request Bria to pick the continue and as she also did then, AIrturo congratulates her for staying on the game and excuse himself by saying enjoy. But he give her warning to every choices she choose since she only have 3 lives. Then AIturo vanished.

Then her attention went back to the paper. Suddenly as she grabs the paper a gold sentences form on the air. And it seems like it was the choices. The first one was read while the other one says throw on trash. Bria chose the first one then came from her eyes flashes the story written on the paper.

'My name is Shani, daughter of captain Herman, to anyone who reads this letter means I no longer exist in this world. I am born in a silver spoon, but I never had a freedom to do my own choices. I have written a couple times for help outside the cities gate by throwing a the letter inside the bottle. But it seems no one has ever came for my call. My new mother was mean and is now trying to marry me on a guy named Santino. I never saw these man but the people in this town knew that he was old and drunkard, there was also a rumour that he killed his previous wife because, she doesn't satisfy him. I fear death from the hands of strangers, so I better kill myself than stain other people's hand with my blood. If I die I can finally be free. I can finally do what I want to do just like a wind. And father, I know you are kind specially when mother was alive. Please be healthy and have a good life. Your mistress is wicked and only after your-'

-Then the flash ended.

"What's up with her step mom? Was she hiding something? A gold digger? That's right! That's the mostly stepmother's personality in a drama. A cruel and only after for money."

In addition, a piece of paper floats on the showing the first missions. That is to find out what her step mother was after on their family. The second one was to find her maid Feli in which she doesn't know who and where to find.

She chose to search her maid inside the Casa Furtina's, seems like her maid was no where. The paper only gives hint about it's looks. It has frizzy long hair thin as a stick and pale as an ash. She has no choice but to sneak outside and find her maid. Bria knew the danger she'll face when one of the guard civils would catch her. But she has no choice.

The market area seems to be quite and a perfect place for a maid to hide. As she roams around the pavements, she suddenly heard guards and horses running. They were also shouting, saying " the rebels leader is here catch him. Bria panicked and run her soul out of the scene and finds herself hiding inside the church's confession room. She can almost hear her breath and smell her sweat. But then she remembers she doesn't run that long and nothing on her skin seems wet and dripping. Suddenly she heard another sound of breathing behind her that creeps her. She wants to scream but it's hand already grabs her mouth and whispered.

"Binibini [Miss] stay quiet or I'll slit your throat."

Bria trembles and chose to follow its order. She can't do an action right now since she was like a patty on a burger pinned by both dangers. The guards then seems to be dumb and left the church specially when one of them suggest the priest might be mad if they knew they raid a church without their permission. They then left without checking the corners of the church. When the place then silenced, the person behind Bria slowly pushed her out pointing a Sharp knife on her neck.

"A lady is not allowed to roam the town at this hour. Why are you here and broke the laws."

The gold sentences appeared as it pause everything. When Bria noticed that everything stops she tried to pull out herself from the guys grasp but it seem her legs are stack and paralyzed. No other choice but choice from the choices.

'Tell the truth or be quite.' Bria chose the second option. And immediately she was knocked out when she feels it's hands strike on her nape.

The next morning she found herself inside her home. She can still feel the pain behind her. As she caress the pain she remembers what just happened, and it made her mad. Suddenly a squealing voice destroyed her peace.

"Senyorita, you're awake, you're finally awake. I was so worried about you."

Bria stares at her carefully, it has frizzy hair, thin body, and a pale skin. Her eyes widened and was about to say her name.

" It's me Feli, your maid. " she interrupt.

"You are Feli? The maid I was looking for?"

The maid nods and then asked as she realized why her lady looks for her. Bria was confused too why she was looking for her.

"I'm sorry to tell you but, I don't understand what's going on. I was just playing this game with my phone back on my room and then suddenly by a blink I am here. I don't know how, and why but atleast I know I'm in a game."

The maid then got confused and then blames herself for believing her Miss's command.

" I shouldn't have listened to you when you said you wanted to escape. I shouldn't have run away like you said. And now look at you, confused and out of your mind. Your now talking with nonsense and even have no shame going outside with wearing your night gown."

"What's wrong with the dress it's not like you're wearing a bikini."

Her maid cries out loud when her lady was now talking something she doesn't understand. Bria cuts her drama and asked her how did she get back home. Feli told her that a nun who was assigned to prepare the mass came early for prayers found her lying on the church. Because she Shani was well known she was immediately identified by the nuns. They brought her back home and even give back a a gold ring marked with angel's wings. But the maid was sure that the ring was not her master's so she waited for her to wake up to really scan if it was her ring.

Bria then remembered what happened, her mouth was covered with hand and while she was trying to pull off the wrapping fingers she manage to took off the ring instead. She feels relieve that through the ring she can finally hunt the person who knocked her down.

A footsteps then came in and it surprised Bria with a news. Santino will now marry her as soon as possible and even demands to send her to his home immediately. She was looking good and seems to have fun. She was really desperate to het rid of Shani.

"Excuse me? Who are you?"

Briia broke her celebration, and was shocked from what she heard. She looks at Bria's face and read that she was really confused and curious of her identity.

"Are you making a fool out of me Shani?"

Bria looks at her eyes straightly and said "Answer my question and stop calling me with names I don't even know."

Feli slaps her forehead as she knew what just happened. She was fooled by the Albolaryo [healer] about the medicine as poison. But instead give her the erasing of memory potion.
