Episode 59: The Truth (1)

******* Arthur's POV *******

The enemies still haven't spotted us so we are safe for now.

I'm on top of a giant mountain spying on the army of the undead and those green monsters with no arms.

Their army is still growing in numbers and Sisilla and I still don't know what they are planning. All we can do right now is follow them and wait.

I started walking down the mountain after scouting the enemies and head back to the camp.

My horse is still not used to wearing armor but thankfully, he finally calmed down enough for me to ride him. Sisilla made this armor and enchanted this herself then gave it to me.

I mounted my horse and started galloping.

I managed to reach the temporary base just a little bit far from the enemies so they won't notice us and I see Sisilla having trouble opening the Ender Chest.

"What's wrong?" I asked Sisilla while still riding my horse.

I can see Sisilla putting a lot of strength on opening the Ender Chest but it still refuses to open. The netherrack she is standing started showing signs of breaking but thankfully, Sisilla stops whatever she is doing.

"King Carolus probably prohibited you from using his Ender Chest since you keep sending him random messages and items," I said to her.

"No. He is dead." Sisilla said in a happy tone like she just said good news.

I quickly equipped my spear and pointed at her head.

"Don't you ever make a joke about King Carolus being dead," I said to her but she just grabbed my spear and slammed me to the ground with little effort.

"Ender Chests are only usable when the one who crafted it is still alive. Carolus kicked the bucket but don't worry, my boy, he is probably going to be fine and also..." Sisilla started explaining while extending her hand to help me get up.

"Don't you ever point your weapon at me if you don't intend to use it." She continued and she is now smiling.

I stared at her hand and just decided to grab it then stand on my feet.

"What do you mean 'He is probably going to be fine'? You just said that he died." I said to her while putting away my weapon.

"Enough talking about him. What is the status of our beloved enemies?" Sisilla said while equipping a diamond pickaxe and started mining the Ender Chest.

I can't believe that she just changed the topic so easily but I decided to trust her since she said King Carolus will be fine.

"They are now 3000 walking pigs and 3000 black skeletons gathered in their army. The number of those green armless monsters is still the same, 600 or so. Their total number is still growing every day." I started explaining while opening a map and place it on the stone table that Sisilla crafted.

"Here," I said while pointing at the center of the map. "There is some kind of structure that is in perfect shape and hollow in the inside. About 20 or so blocks tall and I can't really see it from afar but I'm sure it is made out of obsidian."

"So, they already have a portal ready. Quite a smart bunch though I wonder who mined those obsidians? Probably that newborn Legendary Monster." Sisilla said while grabbing a stone chair and sit on it.

"Legendary Monster? What is this 'Legendary Monsters' you keep asking me to find while I scout them?" I said while also grabbing a chair to sit on.

"Oh. Carolus didn't explain them to you? Well, every type of monster has a Supreme Leader. They can command thousand to tens of thousands of monsters. They are really strong and each one has unique abilities depending on their race."

"Wait. They are three types of monsters in the combined army we are following so does it mean they are three Legendary Monsters leading the horde?"

"Yes!" Sisilla said cheerfully.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I've been training myself here in this cruel dimension. Enhancing my skills given by the Goddess and I also asked Sisilla to train me since I noticed that she is a better fighter than me.

I noticed someone is tapping the top of my helmet and I quickly opened my eyes.

"You worry too much. Come on. I have a plan." Sisilla said.

She picked up her cat that is sitting on the ground. Her cat is wearing a full set of enchanted diamond armor. It is really bad that her cat has better armor than me.

She started walking towards her horse who is also wearing diamond armor and quickly ride it then placing the cat on the neck of the horse.

Sisilla is now wearing diamond armor and this is my first time seeing her wearing one in this dimension.

I also started walking towards my horse and mount it.

My horse and I are only wearing iron armor but it is fully enchanted so we are not quite inferior to Sisilla's equipment.

Sisilla suddenly throws bottles towards me and I tried to shield myself from it using my hands.

"What are you doing?" I quickly asked while still covering myself.

It didn't take long for me to notice that I feel sort of great. My body is a lot lighter now.

I opened my status to see what just happened.

What are these? This is the most powerful buff I have ever received in my life.

"You ready, boy?" Sisilla asked me and I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and stare at her.

"Wait. What is the plan?"

Sisilla didn't answer my question and just started galloping towards the direction of the enemy camp.

I also kicked my horse and started traveling beside her.

"Seriously, Sisilla. What is the plan here?" I asked her once again but she still didn't answer and she is now laughing.

Why am I following this woman?

She will be the death of me.

******* Carolus' POV ********

The pain was suddenly gone.

I feel so much better now.

I opened my eyes and see nothing but white.

I noticed that I'm sort of floating and I can't really tell which side is up or down. So, this is what astronauts feel like while they are on space.

I look at my hands and was surprised to see the things that I have been missing in my entire Minecraft life.

Fingers.

My fingers are back and I quickly wiggle them around to see if they are real.

God, I missed them so much.

I also started checking myself and I noticed that I'm back to my human form. The real human form and not my Minecraft Avatar. I'm wearing nothing but white and I really want a mirror right now to see myself.

What is happening here? Am I in the afterlife?

"Not quite. This is my heavenly dimension."

I can hear a familiar voice from behind and I quickly maneuvered my floating self to turn around.

I can see a woman in an image of a Minecraft Avatar. She is also wearing nothing but white which makes it hard to focus on her since everything is so bright and white in here.

"Sorry about that. Let me change my clothing and have you to stand on your feet." The woman said and a glass floor suddenly appeared with a wooden table and two wooden chairs in the middle of it.

I suddenly stopped floating and I landed on the platform in my bare feet.

She changed the color of her clothing to pure black and her hair color also change from white to black.

I noticed that she keeps talking to me like she is reading my mind.

"I am. It is really hard to communicate with you since you are a man of few words." The woman said while grabbing one of the chairs and sit on it. She also motioned to me to sit.

Okay. This is really weird. This woman is also really weird. Wait. I forgot she can read minds.

The woman suddenly started laughing and I just grabbed the remaining chair and sit on it.

I stared at the woman and I feel that I already met her before.

"We did meet before, @#$%, but due to the circumstances, I have to... let say, I made a choice that will probably anger you."

What is up with her and the mind reading? Wait. Did she just say that we met before? So, it was her in my very first dream in this world. The woman who I am looking for.

She also knows my real name and not the one that I gave to myself, the Polish King name.

I have so many questions in my mind and I don't really know where to start asking.

What I am doing in a Minecraft world?

What happened to me? I am certain that the Ender Dragon roasted me alive but why I am still breathing.

Why am I back to my real self?

My head started to spin around as I asked myself these questions.

The woman smiled at me then she waves her hand and a cup of water suddenly appeared on the table.

"Drink and calm yourself. Don't worry. I will answer every question that you have."

I quickly grabbed the cup and drink all of its content. I feel slightly calm now.

"Let me start by introducing myself. I go by many names but you probably know me as 'Goddess of All Creations' or just 'Goddess'."

Great. I have finally found the person that can send me back home.

"Unfortunately, I can't do that. You see..." The Goddess didn't finish her sentence and just stare at me. She is probably thinking about what to say.

"How about I give them back to you the things that I took." The Goddess finally said after a while.

What is she talking about? What things did she take from me?

The Goddess raise her hand towards me and it suddenly started to emit a bright light.

The light in her hand is so bright that I can no longer stare at it and I quickly close my eyes.

After a while, I opened my eyes and noticed that I'm back in my own world.

I am walking on the side of the street with the next-door kid and I remember this. We are walking back to our houses from the park.

The next-door kid is hugging his plushie while we continued walking until we reach the place where I remembered that I slipped then hit the ground with my face and transported in a Minecraft world.

I waited for the coming tragedy but nothing happened. We are still merrily walking on the side of the street but I noticed something in the distance.

A truck is speeding so fast on the road near us and it suddenly lost its steering then made a quick turn and hit a post.

I don't know what just happened. The situation escalated so fast but it seems the time suddenly flows slow.

There are multiple things flying all over the place coming from the truck and I quickly kneel on the ground and embraced the next-door kid to cover him.

After a while, I let go of the kid and asked: "You all right kid?".

The kid didn't answer my question and stare at my chest with a horrified look.

I look at my chest to see what he is staring at and notice a huge shard of glass poking out.

I can suddenly feel so much pain and I'm having trouble breathing like my lungs is slowly filling up with liquid but I just ignored everything that is happening to me and started checking on the kid if he is all right.

Thankfully, the kid is fine since his plushie protected him from the sharp glass shard. I never thought in my life that I will be thankful for a plush toy with a face and a mustache.

My vision started to get blurry and I just closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes and I'm back to this white place staring at the Goddess.

I remember now. I remember everything.
