Truth hurt
Myra stared at Jonas for a while, his eyes were closed and he was murmuring in his sleep, the glass of wine in his hands.
His lips twitched and a helpless look came on his face.
She reached out to remove the glass from his hands, guilt washing over her. How could she have been so clueless not to see that he was in love with her? They have been friends for over 5 years. Why didn't she see it? He also said he tried to tell her countless times.
It was probably the reason why he never dated or even mingled with other ladies, because he was in love with her.
Myra sighed. It was all her fault. If she'd been more attentive to her friend. He wouldn't be so hurt right now.
Now, the least she could do was stay away from him so he would get over her.
"Jonas?" She tapped him. "Get up, Jonas. You can't sleep here."
His lashes fluttered open and he murmured something inaudible.
