Meeting a an old friend
"Myra, I-" Peter tried to pull her into an embrace. "I'm really sorry, please forgive me."
"Get out," she screamed at once. "I can't do this anymore."
He pulled away when he saw the resolute decision in her eyes. "Alright, I'll be waiting for your call when you change your mind," he mumbled and walked to the door.
Casting a last glance at her, Peter stepped out of her apartment.
Myra fell to the floor, she tried to hold the tears back, to show Peter that she wasn't affected by his cheating, but she couldn't take it anymore.
The river of tears overflowed.
Biting her lips in an attempt to ease the pain, it still hurt.
It hurts to be betrayed by someone you trust.
She had thought it wouldn't hurt too much when she breaks things off with him, but she was wrong, the pain was something she'd never experienced.
Myra curled on the floor, sobbing harder as she replayed her conversation with Peter in her head over and over again.
