SPEED DICK

AVA POV

"Don't worry dear he should be up in a few. Meanwhile your Dad and I have something to talk about so try and meet the others." Karen said to me.

"Yeah. Thank you Mrs. Anderson for taking me in." I said really grateful.

"No need to be so formal with me hon and as for the house. It's big enough to contain ten people. It does have up to eleven bedrooms after all so there's still space for more." She wasn't lying I got my own room so did Cass and Nathan. There was even an underground lab and a secret cell in the house. That's how big the house is.

It's been two weeks. It's crazy what happened that night.

Flashback

The two dude took me round to the other exit of the warehouse. I was really waiting for them to kill me because honestly I'm tired. I don't know what that guy did to me but anytime he comes around me my head gets a really crazy migraine and everything becomes blurry that I can't even see he him but the exact moment he leaves it's all gone but my body always feels weak like hell. I'm always tied to chains on my hands which is surely bruised by now. Some of his boys even tried to fuck me while I was in chains but each time he either stopped them or killed them apparently they aren't meant to waste their time on shit like me and if they do it then they are waste to according to The Psycho and I'm not gonna lie that hurt my feelings a bit. When we got round to the back. One of the guys carrying me by my arm fell as a result something heavy and thick hitting his head. The other guy gets his gun after shoving me to the ground. That left a mark by the way and he brought a gun. When I saw the gun I was freaking out and I saw him pointing it towards a girl who I came to know as Cassandra. I heard the gun shoot when I close my eyes. It's silent for a couple seconds. Then I open my eyes after hearing a loud thud on the floor. I see the dude's dead body on the ground. When I look to the side to see who did it I'm left speechless.

"Get away from my sister you son of a bitch." He said with tears now in his eyes. Did he just kill a person because of me?

"Cole!" I said with tears of joy flowing down my eyes. While he broke down in tears. When I reached him I go down to his height just so I could see him but he instantly hugged me the moment I came down.

"Ava. . . Did I. . . Is he dead? Did I get him?" He said.

"Yeah you got him."

"Oh." Now he sounded dejected.

"It's alright we are gonna be okay."

"I'm I a bad person Ava?" I don't think he's okay with the fact he killed a human. The fact he's still a child and he had to be exposed to this is really sad and I feel really guilty for it. If he hadn't tried to save me he won't feel this.

"Your not a bad kid Cole. Your the best brother in the world that saved his sister okay. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise okay."

"Yeah."

"Your sister is right. Thanks for the save little man." Cassandra said

"Who are you?" I asked not knowing who she was at that time.

"I am Cassandra a friend of Sandra and Nathan."

"Ava."

"I know who you are."

"Okay then. Cole how did you get out?" I asked now drying the tears in our faces.

"Sandra let me out."

"Wait, Sandra's here."

"It's a good thing she is. She let us all out." At the sound of that voice I immediately detached myself from Cole and into his arms.

"Dad." I said letting all the tears flow freely." I thought. . . The news. .  You're supposed to be dead." Putting my face in the crook of his neck I continued my crying.

"Come on now, don't say that like you want it to happen. Plus it's gonna take more than this to kill me. I'm more powerful than you think." I chuckled a little at the sarcasm in the statement. "Come on now, let's go home." I let go of him. I saw my mom from the corner of my eye. She was really angry at what I don't know but she hugged me all the same and after a few tears from both of us Sandra started to lead the way to a van with Karen inside. She too didn't look happy the moment she saw my dad. As she was about to say something we heard shouting.

ARGHHHHH!

That came from the warehouse. Cassandra started to run towards there but Sandra held her.

"Let go Sandra."

"What are you gonna do when you get there?"

"He could be in trouble Sandra and I'm not gonna stay here and watch him die."

"Technically it's listen to him die." Cassandra yanked the arm off and ran towards the warehouse.

"Who is she talking about?" Cole asked.

"Nathan."

"Nathan!" I yelled.

"Didn't you see his face." It was so blurry that I didn't even see anyone around that guy not even Nathan. I left the van and Sandra followed suit as I ran.

When I get there I see the horrific scene of Nathan's body stabbed by rods surrounded by a pool of blood. Just the site of the blood made me nauseous alone but I have to walk it off to help him after Karen and Sandra rushes to his body. When I kneel beside him. I look into his green eyes that were now so dull from death.

"Oh no." Sandra said.

"You guys shouldn't bother his already dead." I said losing any hope I had in him being alive.

"His not dead yet." Karen said. "There's still some pulse coming from him even though it's slower than usual." Immediately Sandra starts to remove rod by rod from his body a little bit violently if you ask me.

"What are you doing?" Cassandra asked her.

"If his pulse is slow means that he's gonna die soon because he's body won't function well and if these are stuck in his body means that his body can't regenerate and repair itself."

"He can do that?" I asked.

"Yes he can." Karen said joining in removing the rods like Sandra." He's broken and dislocated bones but that can all be healed after his wounds are closed so take out the rods."

I followed suit. Each time I pulled a rod out of his body I could see sparks of electricity from his body and the rods shocked a little bit at some point when pulling it out. Each time I pulled a rod the wound closes within seconds as if blood and flesh is being created at a crazy amount of speed. By the time we removed all the rods, every single ounce of blood had dried completely.

"How is this even possible?" I asked.

"Electricity in the blood dries up liquid plasma. It's the same reason electric current shocks a person to death."

"So your saying the electricity generated from him leaves an after effect." It's a good thing studying physics. It helps in stuff like this

"Exactly. That's why he's able to generate electricity while running although there's a second reason for that which is the amount of friction he creates when running against the air." Cassandra now says.

" Yeah because the static friction in air causes lighting."

"A fellow physics nerd."

"I'm not that good but you can say that."

"Karen why is he healing like this?" Sandra asks Karen.

"There are a lot of things about the inhuman body we don't understand Sandra but I think I have a theory. He has the ability of speed so he's cells are always in a hyper-state any so clotting of the blood and healing happens quickly due to the constant excited state of his cells."

"What kind of project were you guys working on that lead to all this. . . What do I call this now?. . . Evolution?" Cassandra asked

"I can't give you that."

"I think you and I both know I ain't Nathan that would let you have your space. If you can't tell me I'll find out through others sources."

"You can go ahead."

"Sandra why aren't the cops here?" She said directing her attention to Sandra.

"How I'm I suppose to know that."

"Let's get him outta here fast before we can talk about why the police isn't here, alright?" I said. When we get into the van we head towards Karen's place. She starts treating whatever she can treat on his body.

After two hours she comes out of the theatre in the lab.

"His condition is stabilizing. But I don't think he'll be up in a few a days while we wait for him every one should. . ."

"Park there things and come here or leave the country." Cassandra said interupting her.

"Why should we do that?"

"I wasn't referring to the adults in the group. I'm talking about the kids. It's obvious you adults know what's going on and you don't wanna tell us. What kind of adults puts there kids in danger. The selfishness and your secrecy of all of you so called grown ups in this room is the cause of all this pain. If we kids can't leave the country it's better we are together so that we don't get picked apart." She said really getting angry now. She takes a deep breath before continuing. "Listen to me. You guys do what ever you want but we are gonna stick together if not he'll pick us like pieces of stick scattered in a farm. He can do what he wants to do you guys since y'all aren't willing to open up. Nathan is half dead right now because you and I want you to know that if he does die his blood is on your heads. I'll find out this secrets myself."

"The girl is right."Mrs. Antonia Chrisland (my mom) said. "Gabriel and Karen I don't know much about what you guys did but I know you guys are gonna suffer for bringing these kids into it. Ava I'm going to take your brother to London while if you want to stay here and take care of your friends when your ready to come you call me. I've already called my lawyer for the divorce proceedings to begin. Let's go." She said to Cole and took his arm.

"Divorce!" My dad seemed shocked.

"There's no way I'm gonna continue with this." She said before walking away with Cole then pauses at the entrance of the door. "And by the way you can keep all your wealth. There ain't no way I'm gonna take part in spending money made over another person's life." She said with tears now streaming down her eyes and she left.

Wait, did she just breakup with my dad in front of me? What the hell was she saying about spending money on another person's life? Is dad a murderer? Or is Karen? And what does that have to do with the Psycho? Why is my life turning into a piece of shit?

I turn over to look at Karen who was now sobbing.

"Mom, is it true? Did you kill someone?"

"You guys get your things I need to check on him." She said and went out.

The police came by a few hours after asking about stuff. Surprisingly, the FBI got involved in my case and they decided they were gonna keep tabs on me not that I was complaining anyway. Dad left a few minutes before they came so I decided to go home to pack up my stuff and move in. When I got inside I heard yelling from inside the room. My mom.

"Don't tell me to calm down. Your lucky I'm not even calling the cops on you both but I promise you this if any thing happens to my baby Ava I'll make sure I end both you and Karen. She opens the door and comes out.

"Son of a bitch." She muttered while still crying. When she notices me she wipes the tears.

"How much of that did you hear?"

"A lot."

"I'm sorry you had to hear those stuff kiddo."

"Mum I'm not a kid. I know you never make decisions that quickly unless it's serious so I won't try to stop you but I would really love if you guys tried to get along and I don't know; fix your problems."

"That can't happen honey. Listen It's just not right for you to hear this from my mouth but I'm gonna let you in on any clue. Find about Jessica Audrey." She said and pulled me into a hug.

Present day

It's been a week so we started school but Nathan isn't up. I was really surprised when I heard Cassandra was in college. The looks of kids in school were weird but as usual boys came back to being there idiot selves and had the guts to ask me out even after knowing what happened to me. Mason and Sandra weren't making out as roughly as they used to maybe it's because of Sandra's head is in Nathan's situation.

I decided to head home early ditching cheerleading practice. I get into my newly found room which was really nice and suited my taste. Cassandra wasn't home so I had the entire place to my self for the day. Where she went I don't know. I heard falling of something's in the kitchen. I don't know why, but after seeing what happened to Nathan I get scared to death over every little sound thinking it was the Psycho guy. I grab the vase and go down to the kitchen preparing for any attack.

When I get into the kitchen I see Nathan battling with a whole bottle of water. Correction, bottles of water. Containers of waters on the ground, empty.

"What are you trying to do, drink the ocean?"

"What are you doing with the vase?" I look up at the vase raised above my head.

"You made a lot of racket that I thought that Psycho guy. . ."

"And you think that would have defended you?"

"Better than nothing." All of a sudden I remember what happened that night. I get close to him and hug him.

"I don't know why your did this but this is nice."

"This is my way of saying thank you idiot. You helped me and my family out." I removed my face from his neck but with my hands around his neck while his around my waist. Why do I feel like my face is heating up.

"No probs. Just don't get in trouble again."

"I should be telling you that." I said now leaning in closer. Why the heck do I like this guy? In all honesty I barely even know this boy and anytime his close to me I feel so close to him. By the time I'm done thinking our noses are actually touching. Just one more move and it's done.

"You sure you want to do this right here. You can't handle me." He said his voice now raspy. Was he testing me or intentionally turning me on because both were working.

"Try me." Just when I was about to lean in.

"Hold it speed dick. You just woke up and this is what your doing." I turned around releasing my hold from Nathan.

"Well she started it." He said.

"Excuse me."

"I believe you Ava he's a real lure. Nathan if you want to make sure she's safe and not kidnapped or targeted by Psycho again don't try to fuck her."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I figured out what he meant by speed dick."

"What do you mean by speed dick?"

"What does he mean?" He said taking a step forward removing he's shirtless body from my touch. He looked hot with only black pants. I wonder how it would be feel. That muscular body on me.

"He meant your hormones. As in sexual hormones."

"Wait what?"
