Chapter 44 Breakfast

"Wow they certainly know how to make a mess, do they have a house cleaner or maid or something?" Michael wonders out loud

"Negative there is no persons registered under the job off house keeper or maid or anything along those lines, they do there own cleaning"

"I see thank you Athena"

"Your welcome Michael"

(I guess I need to be careful what I say from now on or Athena might just answer me back)

As Michael walked further in he picked up the dresses and shoes and put them in the downstairs bathroom before heading up to his own room to take a shower.

"Athena are you able to tell if any of the girls are awake yet?" Michael asked curiously.

"I monitor all life signs in the penthouse in case a medical emergency crops up."

"Currently all four female life signs are asleep."

"Two are located in Alexandria's room and two are located in Sarah's room."

"Am sure I could guess who is where" Michael said with a chuckle.

"Please proceed with your guess"

"No Athena I was joking." Michael said.

"Oh" was the response he got and it almost sounded sad.

"Ok here is my guess, in Alexandria's room is Alexandria and Jane, and in Sarah's room or Sarah and Gracie."

"Incorrect"

"Really where was I wrong?" Michael inquired.

"Life scans indicated that Alexandria's room is occupied by persons Alexandria and Sarah while Sarah's room is occupied by persons Gracie and Jane."

"Really I wonder what happened to cause that?" Michael thought out loud.

"Life scans of early this morning at approx 03:15 hours show that persons Gracie and Jane entered Sarah's room before engaging in physical intercourse.

Audio recordings indicate that persons Sarah was angry at them using her room again for their physical intercourse and so person Alexandria invited Sarah to sleep with her."

"Wow that's kind of wild, seems there relationship is more complex than I thought…. Wait did you say audio recordings?" Michael checked.

"Indeed for security purposes such as a break in or a violent action all of the penthouse is recorded unless instructed to turn off voice recordings by primary user Michael Vandal."

"Crazy" Michael said before taking a shower and getting dressed.

"I wonder if I should make breakfast for everyone" Michael wondered

"Hey Athena can you use your life scan detector to determine how long it will be before someone wakes up?"

"Processing request stand by"

"Stand by"

"Processing complete, new function created named sleep estimator"

"Would you like to use it?"

"Wow impressive Athena please use it" Michael complimented.

"Thank you Michael scanning now"

"Would you like an individual result on or all persons or a group result?"

"Group result please"

"Estimated remaining time of sleep is between 1 and 1 and a half hours."

"Excellent thank you Athena"

"You're welcome Michael."

After that Michael headed for the kitchen to check what food they had in.

He was pleased to see that the fridges and freezers (yes multiple of them) were fully stocked with food.

"Ok full English breakfast, Athena please put on the news channel." Michael asked assuming a AI with life detector and voice recording and recognition could turn on the TV or radio.

"Yes Michael completing request now"

And with that the news channel came on the TV in the kitchen, Michael listened and glanced at it while he prepared breakfast for everyone.

"Hello the time is now 10 am and here we have the headlines"

"Lexi concert huge success as she sings Always with you live for the very first time and also seems to be singing it to someone special."

"Always With You" by Lexi has shot up to the top of the music charts over night."

"Jake Daniels footage at the Lexi concert shows him claiming to be in a relationship with Lexi and having taken her virginity"

"Mystery man steps out of limo and then helps all of the four queens out before walking inside arms locked with two of the queens and then at the end of the party exited arms locked with the other two queens before he left with all four in the same limo."

"Lexi auctions off first dance for 300 million pounds winch will go to charity under The Emerald Lake's new charitable foundation called The Lake Foundation."

"Mystery man requests Lexi to dance by addressing her as Alexia, is the list getting its 5th name at last."

"Mystery man is identified to be Michael Vandal by actress Michelle Rodriguez who also claims he is the man she accused of spiking her drink to sleep with her in the past."

"Lexi steps forward to defend Michael Vandal from Michelle Rodriguez accusations."

"Michael Vandal dances with all of the four queens several times each as the party goes on."

"Michael Vandal played an intricate role of forming a new partnership between The Emerald Lakes new charity foundation called The Lake Foundation and Children's Homes Rebuilt charity."

As Michael listened to the news it finally sunk in how much they did last night and how newsworthy the four queens were.

"Why is my name connected with the new partnership tho?" He asked out loud and this time a voice that was not Athena's answered.

"That's because Jane suggested Philip Hargreaves do that as a way to express thanks for what you did since we knew you would not accept any reward" Sarah answered as she came into the kitchen still wearing her nightie.

"Good morning Sarah did you sleep well in Alexia's bed? Michael asked grinning not commenting on her attire.

"Indeed thank… wait how did you know I slept there?" She asked suspiciously.

"I have my sources." Michael answered mysteriously.

"Breakfast? He asked.

"Please it smells good I did not know you could cook, also tell me how you knew." Sarah insisted.

"When you grow up in an orphanage and help the ladies before being kicked out by the police into the street to fend for yourself you pick up some skills to help you make money or survive"

"As for the other thing that's not all I know but I will inform you when the rest are awake as I need to inform you of something else."

Michael dished out bacon, sausage, eggs, hash brown, beans , mushrooms, fried tomatoes and toast for Sarah and handed it over. "Enjoy" he said.

"Thank you it looks amazing, what other skills do you know have then." Sarah asked as she dug into her breakfast.

"Well for one I can play the piano" Michael said as he started to eat his breakfast.

"Really?" Sarah replied but also Gracie who had just walked into the kitchen also dressed in her nightie.

"Morning love" she said kissing Sarah and then saying "morning Mike that looks amazing."

"Here let me get you some take a seat" Michael said as he fished out breakfast for Gracie and passed it over."

"Oh right coffee" he said and poured coffee for them all.

"Oh wow this is great Mike, so did here right, you can play the piano?" Gracie asked between mouthfuls.

"Yeah it's a skill I picked up to make money when the police kicked me out on the street after the fire." Michael confirmed.

"Will you play us something later?" Sarah asked

"Where? There is no piano here." Michael questioned.

"That's where you wrong" Jane answered as she entered the kitchen also in a nightie.

"Something smells great" she said sitting down.

"Here take a seat I will dish yours out, how am I wrong then?" Michael asked as he got Jane's breakfast before passing it over.

"The living room floor retracts and there is a piano underneath that Alexia can use when she thinks up a new song or wants to practice." Jane replied while she ate "wow this is amazing."

"Haha thanks but a full English always tastes better after a night of drinking." Michael joked.

"So will you okay for us later?" Sarah asked again keen to listen to his music.

"Sure if that's what you all want tho I have not played in a few months so might be a bit rusty." Michael agreed.

"Played what? Alexia asked as she stepped into the kitchen dressed only in a nightie, then to everyone's surprised approached Michael and gave him a quick kiss on the lips before saying "morning my love" and then sitting down.

"Something smells great." she said with a smile.

This time Michael did not offer to serve up breakfast because his brain had just shut down.

"Alexia looked what you did, you have not even confirmed a relationship or anything yet and you short circuited Mikes brain, if this was any other man they would die from a heart attack after being kissed by Lexi." Gracie said.

"It's not any other man tho, the only male my lips will touch from now on is Michael. Unless it's a cheek kiss in greeting like the French do." She added at the end.

"Mike her Mike you there wakey wakey" Sarah said waving her hand in front of Michael.

"Emergency situation detected with primary user Michael Vandal initiating full bio scan standby."

"Standby"

"What!" All four girls became shocked

"Did the AI just say primary user?" Sarah asked.

"Athena no longer recognizes designation AI for this unit, this unit now goes by designation Athena as set by primary user Michael Vandal, full bio scan still in operation standby"

"Standby"

"No way, did Michael actually manage to succeed where some of the world's best AI programmers and millions of dollars of funding failed?" Gracie asked shocked.

"Full bio scan complete, diagnosis is Micro-sleep caused by shock from being kissed by the world's top celebrity and beauty."

"Recommend cure is to splash cold water in his face."

"Oh let me" Gracie said excitedly as she grabbed a glass of cold water and splashed it in Michael's face.
