Chapter 5: First Form and Dreams

(Kodai POV)

I rushed to the field that I asked for my third birthday with full speed. I tried to run as fast as my tiny legs could take me as to try to get some distance between my family and I.

'Finally! Finally I can get the first of my forms! I wonder what it will be though but I have a feeling that it will be the Founder as it was the first Titan to appear in the AoT world. But I will find out soon enough, right now I have to run as fast as I can to create some distance between myself and them.' I thought as I kept running full speed towards the clearing.

Unknown to me though was my speed kept increasing as I was running, it was like my body knew that I didn't want to implicate my family for my transformation.

I kept running and running until I finally reached a clearing that was devoid of trees and life. The clearing only consisted a land full of grass that could be seen filled a 50 m radius. I ran to the center of the field and was ready to slit my hand to activate the transformation. As the blade was about to touch my skin I hear the voices of my family coming after me as they entered the clearing.

"Wait Ko-chan!"

"Stop!"

"SLOW DOWN!"

I hear my my mother, father and sister and looked over to see them just reaching the edge of the clearing. Before they take one more step I stop them.

"STOP! DONT COME ANY CLOSER! I have a feeling that I need a wide area for my quirk and I don't want to hurt you!" I yelled to them at the top of my lungs to show them how serious I am.

They stopped in their tracks as they were hesitating whether to comply with my wishes.

I could see the worry and hesitation in their eyes after I yelled this.

Of course they would have worry as they never experienced something like this when they were activating their quirks. Their quirks was very weak when they were just manifesting but here their son is saying he needs a clearing of 100 m in diameter for his quirk. What exactly was his quirk?

"Please guys, trust me! I will be fine!" I pleaded my parents as I felt the energy within me was going to overflow.

My parents saw the plead in my eyes and finally nodded in understanding. They took a step back as to ensure that their son could awaken without any worry.

I was relieved at this and finally slit my hand with the knife. As blood started to drip my vision was filled with an orange yellow glow as I felt an ancient power within me waking up.

If he could see from the outside, he would know that the moment he slit his hand, an orange yellow bolt of lightning suddenly struck him from the sky. His family was obviously startled but they decided to trust his son that this was apart of his awakening.

(3rd Person POV)

As he was transforming, his eyes started to go from a deep purple to pale blue with purple streaks stemming from his pupil as it wanted to emit light. He felt skeleton and muscles forming around his limbs as they rose him up to about 15 m from the ground. He felt that a giant and strong body was forming around him as his body was absorbing the light that came from the lightning bolt. As he was building his body, he felt a sudden change from within his body. The primal power he felt earlier went through a mutation as it collected more energy and awakened another power within him. Before he could react, he felt his body becoming more stronger and and his ears started to elongate. After about 10 seconds of transforming, Kodai finally absorbed all the energy that the lightning provided him and finally revealed his new form.

When his family finally saw the giant figure that emerged from the light, they were stunned with agape mouths.

What they saw was too shocking for them as they were trying to comprehend what his quirk was.

Kodai's new form was completely different to what normal gigantification quirks looked like and they could feel the immense energy and pressure coming off of him.

Kodai who was in a somewhat tranced state slowly rose up from his kneeling position and started to stand up. He was standing at about 15 m and could feel the energy that was contained within his body. When he started to examine his body, he found that his body was extremely tones with him sporting an 8 pack and muscles throughout his body not containing even an inch of fat. His face on the titan head was like a more matured version of his original face. His blond hair was placed messily on the top of the Titans head with two elongated, pointy ears sticking out. His mouth had parted lips showing a little of his gums and clenched teeth. The most noticeable thing though was his eyes. His eyes shown with a blue and purple luster that threatened to look through one's souls if they looked into them. Another thing that was also present was that his body was not wearing any cloths and was completely naked but didn't show any genitalia. The strange thing was that it didn't look weird at all as clothes would only disrupt the balance that the gigantic figure projected.

Kodai was admiring his body from inside the nape of the Titans neck where he resided. His limbs were all wrapped around a muscle like tissue that presumably controls each of the titans limbs. Just beneath his eyes the same tissue like substances can be seen. The weird part was that even if he didn't move his limbs or closed his eyes, he could still move the titan limbs and see like if it was an extension of his body. He concluded that in addition to awakening the founder he also inspired the attack titan form as well. That must be the sudden mutation he felt earlier when he was awakening.

As Kodai was experimenting with his senses, he suddenly heard a voice on the ground that was repeatedly calling his name.

"K-Kodai, Kodai, KODAI! Is that you! Answer me! Kodai!" His father was calling out as he was a little stunned and scared at what he just saw.

He saw his son transform into a monster after being hit by a bolt of lightning!

It looked like his gigantification but it also looked like his wife's quirk extra limbs but on a different level.

Kodai who heard his voice looked towards his father and was stunned at the expression that was on his face. His father had an expression of fear and worry towards him and just for a second he felt bitter that he was treated as a monster. When he was about to answer he felt a sudden pain in his head and automatically ejected from the nape of the titan. He felt so exhausted that he felt like he hadn't slept in a 100 years. His Titan body suddenly kneeled again as the nape of his neck started to spew out steam. he was exhausted and needed to sleep. After he got out of the Titan, the Titan started to disintegrate quickly as he walked down the still sturdy hands onto the ground. When he stepped down from the hand he felt like his strength left him and collapsed directly. The last thing he heard was the faint screaming of his family and a young female voice that sounded right in his head.

['Use my power to protect the ones you love and not stray from your path'] the voice said as it slowly faded away leaving only an echo

'I will' I thought as I slowly passed out on the grass.

[2 days later]

Kodai, who was still sleeping was experiencing a dream. When he first passed out, he felt like he was sleeping within his dream, awaiting for something to reveal itself or explain answers.

When he regained conscious in the dream space, he was greeted with a white, Parthenon like building where the steps leading inside was almost pulling him over to invite him inside. He thought for a while the decided to head inside. He felt like answers would be explained if he headed inside.

Inside he saw 9 statues lining the sides of the hall, each kneeling towards the front of the hall. The weird thing was that he recognized these statues. These statues were the 9 original Titans. He thought it was weird at first but then though it was probably his quirk. He started to inspect these statues and noticed that two of them were blacked out while two of them were lit up. He saw that the ones that were lit up were to male looking titans one with a physique that was meant for battle while another one that emanated a majestic aura. He guessed that these were Attack titan and the Founding titan which he managed to awaken when he awakened his quirk. He then looked looked at the two blacked out titans and noticed that one looked very feminine and the other one walked on all fours. He obviously could tell that these two statues were the female and cart titan that was currently possessed by Annie Leonhart. The other statues were gray and stone like in appearance just waiting for the right time to awaken.

Kodai finally looked to where they were all kneeling towards and saw a throne with a familiar golden light ball that was placed on it.

'ROB?' thought Kodai as he walked towards the throne to get the answers he desired.

Once he reached the throne he suddenly heard a voice.

['Hey kid, if your hearing this then that means you've awakened your quirk. Just like I expected I was demoted from my position in my job but not completely fired which surprised me. It turns out they were also quite curious what you would do with the Titans in a world where people had similar quirks. They also said that since you were reincarnated into this world that went against their original plan then you must help them to get rid of the error they made called All for One. It seems like they just cant rely on One for All so they decided for you to face him with Izuku when times comes to face him. You might ask how I'm related to this brotherly conflict as your quirk doesn't relate to them? Well that's where my now superiors come in. They decided for you that they would alter history so that instead of two brothers that started the conflict, one extra one would be added. The story would go where the youngest brother also had a pass on quirk but it was limited to only people of his bloodline and it wouldn't go away. He was deemed totally useless by his oldest brother due to his poor physique and was banished to another country. His second brother, One for All tried to plead for him to take back the banishments but it didn't work causing himself to be punished as well. The youngest who was grateful to his second brother just accepted his banishment and went to Germany. There he met a woman who had substitution quirk and had a child who with a fusion of his bloodline passing quirk and its mothers substitution quirk (as well as some godly intervention) made the fist titan. From there the youngest decided in order to protect his loved ones he would abandon his last name and take on his wife's last name. From there the children they had didn't awaken their quirk due to poor physique but continued to live on and marry. After generations of continuing on the family and children absorbing certain traits of their parents quirks (all though some decedents didn't inherit any quirk) and fusing them with the bloodline quirk eventually created the 9 Titan forms. Just like Izuku is the 9th inheritor of One for All, you are the 9th inheritor of the Titan shifters by blood. Now you have a responsibility to defeat All for One as your fathers gigantification quirk and mothers extra limbs quirk as well as your physique enhancement wish inspired the power of the titans. Phew, I'm parched from explaining that story even though I have no mouth but what do you think?'] said ROB as he was carefully looking at Kodai

Kodai just stood there taking the story in and trying to decide what his next plan of action was. He was definitely going to have to explain it to All might in the future when he joins UA and was definitely going beef up Izuku more than in the cannon if it's going to take the two of us to take down All for One. He also had predict which titans he was going to unlock first as depending on the choice it could stake his acceptance in UA or the sports festival that would come shortly after school starts.

He had a lot to think about but he didn't worry as he still had time till the start of the cannon.

He just nodded at the orb while it slowly started to dissipate. Before he turned back to leave the Parthenon he heard ROB's voice again.

['Oh also, if you heard a female voice just before you passed out, that is the first titan giving you her blessings. If that's it then I'm gonna go. See YA!'] ROB yelled as he disappeared into nothingness.

Kodai nodded, recollected what his ancestor said then started to move with more determination in his eyes.

'All for One, wait for me, your just a stepping stone in front of my path to greatness' thought Kodai as he walked out of the Parthenon.
