Meeting New Races

The smell of fresh grasses filled their nostrils, unlike the dry and arid ground behind them, this place looked well taken care off, although the buildings looked to have been made several hundreds of years ago, they looked clean and spotless.

There were several races walking about freely, with merchants selling their items with smiles on their faces, they mingled together without any fights breaking out suddenly, maybe they had already gotten used to this with time.

There were the Cyclops that Jayden had noticed earlier, they were the biggest of them all and moved with slow sluggish steps, but with their large sizes, they covered several meters with one step. They all had heavy weapons strapped to their backs, ranging from Halberds, to Maces, War Hammers, Axes, Defender Shields, Great Swords etc. And as Jayden looked at them, information about them popped up.

[Race Name: Brazen Cyclops]

There was another race that were made up of tall brown skinned human like beings, they had facial features just like humans, their hair was a bright gold and reflected the bright sun. They had golden claws on their hands and wore normal clothings like humans.

[Race Name: Ustapians]

[General Affinity: Null]

[Other Affinities: Null]

[Rare Affinities: Air]

There was another race that looked like Centaurs, but their body was made up entirely of rocks, and they had four arms on each side of their body.

[Race Name: Warborn Golem Centaurs]

[General Affinity: Earth]

[Other Affinities: Mud, Magma, Metal]

[Rare Affinities: Lightning, Water, Poison, Ice, Sand, Air, Fire, -, -, -, -, -]

Another race were just made up of floating ghost like apparitions, they were covered in dark green robes that concealed every inch of their body, except their wrists and hands. They moved quickly through the air and navigated swiftly and easily through the crowd.

[Race Name: Zanarians]

[General Affinity: Poison]

[Other Affinities: Fire, Earth, Air, Mud]

[Rare Affinities: Water, Ice, Magma, Sand,-,-,-,-,-]

There was a scary looking race, made up of Rat like creatures, they had the head, hands and tail of a rat, but their body, although covered in black hairs, was humanoid.

[Race Name: Beast Kins (Rat Men)]

[General Affinity: Darkness]

[Other Affinities: Earth, -, - Fire, Gemstone]

[Rare Affinities: Water, Poison, Ice, Magma, Sand,-,-,-,-,-]

Those were the current races that Jayden could see at that moment.

Jayden creased his eyebrows and asked mentally. 'What's with the lines Nahshon? Are they informations that you haven't retrieved yet?'

[Yes]

[But I will get them with time]

"Aren't there supposed to be more than just these five races here?" Jayden was snapped out of his thoughts by a students sudden question.

Truth be told, Jayden hadn't noticed that yet because something else was bugging him. He felt like he was forgetting something really important, the cogs in his mind rattled and he saw imaginary smoke coming out of his ears. He was trying his best to grasp what he was forgetting.

The teachers ignored the question and began to lead the way, they moved through the almost endless rows of foreign races with a target in mind, the races were polite enough to make space for them, lest they get lost.

Jayden ignored the feeling he was having and followed the teachers and students. The stalls by their sides, merchants and the concrete buildings charmed them, it felt like they were in some old magical era.

The students chatted along the way with their friends which made Jayden began to miss his buddies too. Then it dawned on him. He stared at the floating race and checked the list of ingredients needed to cure Nate.

[Race Name: Zanarians]

[General Affinity: Poison]

[Other Affinities: Fire, Earth, Air, Mud]

[Rare Affinities: Water, Ice, Magma, Sand,-,-,-,-,-]

[INGREDIENTS TO CURE THE GREENSTONE POISON]

[1x Heart of a hundred year old Great Nephilim]

[2x 1½ liter of poison of Purple Scarabaeus]

[3x 1 Core of a Zanarian Poison Mage]

[2x 4 Full grown Demon Monkey tooths]

"Zanarians Poison Mage!! That's it." Jayden spoke quietly to himself.

"But I can't just go ahead and kill someone for no reason." Jayden said with pity. "But I have no choice."

He steeled his resolve and stared down a Zanarian passing by. Perhaps it noticed his stare or it was just a coincidence, the Zanarian looked at Jayden and immediately scampered off.

They soon ended up in front of a massive tower with strange symbols beautifully embedded on its door, they flickered from time to time as a giant Cyclops that had a spear in his hands stood with his imposing size in front of the door. The spear in his hands looked more like a mini tower to the students due to the Cyclops huge size.

"We are the second envoy of the human race, and we're here with our package." The blue haired teacher said and handed a large metal plate to the Cyclops, the Cyclops blinked and out of his eyes came a blue beam, it clashed on the metal plate with tremendous force that almost sent the students and some teachers flying from the shockwave, but after some seconds, the beam died down and the metal plate was revealed.

No one could see the current state of the metal plate because it was high up in the hands of the Cyclops, but they could tell that there was something wrong.

The Cyclops exerted his giant strength and pushed open the door. The strong smell of old books assaulted their nostrils, they had entered a library.

There were rows and rows and rows of books on the walls perfectly aligned, that spiralled up to the top of the tower. On the ground were rings drawn at random intervals with different colors each. The teachers led them to a blue ring that was amongst the largest in the tower.

The blue haired teacher whom Jayden had come to know as Sir Julius, a teacher of the Blessed Angels House, raised his hands up, a soft wiring and humming sound reached Jayden's ears, it was the sound heard when NanoTech was in use. Something that only those with Bion 1.0 could do.

A blue light gathered at the tips of his fingers, they slowly grew in size until it was as big as a basket ball. He slowly brought down his hands when suddenly, he slammed the ball on the ground. The blue ring around them lighted up, their vision twisted and turned and the contents in the students stomach struggled to come out.

And before they knew it, the scenery around them changed.
