Important Side Story: Lily’s Taken

While Lily ( Erika's 'sister' for those who've forgotten.) is walking home one day, she sees an old lady struggling with a cart of vegetables.

"Would you like some help?" Lily offers

"Thank you I'd really appreciate it, dear" the lady replies kindly with a smile.

While Lily works the lady strikes up a conversation. "My name is Erin, May I know yours?"Erin asks"Lily" comes Lily's cheerful reply.

"How has your day been today Lily, child?"

"Good!" Lily practically shouts as she glows with joy.

"Oh, it almost slipped my mind! Where do you live Lily? I'll get my daughter to drop off a pie or something for you my dear." Erin says as if it can't be debated. "I live at the Yew* orphanage," Lily replies. "Oh, you poor thing" Erin cries.

[*Yew is a tree related to the spirit which in this world means magic and/or talent; their soul. Also used to store souls as it nourishes and preps them for reincarnation. They have a silver yew at the orphanage(which is the reason for its name) with is a rare type, which they pass off as silver birch which looks almost the same and is far more common.]

"Who do you consider family then you poor child," Erin asked worriedly.

"My brothers and sister at the orphanage. I'm really close to Erika who just moved to the Mythic sect as a disciple."

"How nice for you!"

"Oh done already dear, that was fast!"

Unfortunately, the lady was actually a powerful mage in disguise who blackmails and kidnaps children who she finds interesting and are unimportant to nurture them in a twisted way. And Lily is her new victim- partly because she's not important, and partly because of her ungodly talent.

Suddenly Erin releases her disguise turning into a beautiful woman with striking purple eyes and silvery-white hair with streaks of red and black.

"Lily, you MUST come with me or else I will annihilation everyone and everything you hold dear and torture you until you are begging to die, however, if you come obediently your life will be fun though you will have to learn magic and train and such. You will be provided with food, a personal bedroom, friends/sisters, and a new Mother, me!"

'Too bad, I can't kill Erika if she doesn't obey because that sect is wayyyyyyy to overprotective but Lily doesn't need to know hehe' Erin thinks.

And so Lily cuts ties with her family and leaves in tears, saying "I'm sorry but someone powerful wishes to adopt me. Goodbye!"

"Good you did as told you" the mage, Arin says.

'Such an obedient child! Many before her didn't take my threats seriously and thus suffered, but her she believes me. All the better hehe!' Though Arin while Lily thinks, 'What am I to do you've threatened my family!'
