chapter 42: mission 2 if you fail you die
[mitsu and alina meeting outside headquarters]
Mitsu: Alina, I have a mission for you.
[anlina smiles]
Alina: Finally, I thought I would never get a mission.
Mitsu: Well today's your lucky day.
Mitsu: I want you to go find yadara and try to make him your friend.
[alina looks at mitsu surprised]
Alina: What if I fail?.
[mitsu smiles]
Mitsu: I know you won't fail, because if you were to fail yadara will kill you.
Alina: ok.
Alina: do you know where he could be?.
Mitsu: no but we do suspect from some of narimos memories that he loves the shore line.
[alina laughs]
Alina: What kind of mass murderer loves something?.
[mitsu looks at alina surprised]
Mitsu: what do you mean?.
[alina smiles]
Alina: Any mass murderer I've met has always hated everyone and the world. It's never the murderer hates the people, not the world.
Mitsu: Well maybe it's different for yadara, maybe he's trying to get rid of the people in this world.
[alina laughs]
Alina: If that were to be the case, once he's finished he would be the last man on earth and I know well enough that he wouldn't want that, because it gets really lonely out there.
[mitsu looks at alina surprised]
Mitsu: Then why do you think yadara is doing what he's doing?.
Alina: It's obvious, he's getting revenge for what you did to his sister 10 years ago.
[mitsu looks at alina surprised]
Mitsu: how do you know about that?.
[alina smiles]
Alina: a good spy never reveals their secrets.
[alina walks down the street]
[alina laughs]
Alina: They have no idea how much information I have on them.
[after sometime alina arrives at a mall]
Alina: I guess this is their new mall that they built after the war.
Alina: I heard that after the war they went to salvage things and they ended up finding a body in the sewage system with a hole in it's heart.
[alina looks around and sees a map of the city]
Alina: I guess I should be going south of the city to go to the shore line.
Alina: if i get there fast enough i can start my mission before sunset.
[after sometime alina arrives at a park near the shore line]
Alina: I guess I got here early.
[alina looks around to see if she sees yadara]
Alina: I thought Mitsu said that he would be here.
[alina looks around again]
Alina: I guess he isn't here.
[alina notices it's about dark]
Alina: I guess I'll take the long way back to headquarters.
[alina walks out of the park and walks to the shore line]
Alina: [sigh] I'm not in a rush so I guess it won't hurt to watch the sunset.
[yadara walks past alina and grabs her anti strand badge]
[yadara looks at the sunset]
Yadara: one day the sky will be ours again.
[yadara puts alina's anti strand badge in his pocket]
[alina turns around]
Alina: um, are you yadara kusake?.
[yadara turns around]
Yadara: depends on who's asking.
[alina thinking to herself]
Alina: Finally this is my chance to capture him.
[alina stops thinking to herself]
Alina: im alina galya, i used to be one of narimos friends.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: Well, I'm yadara kusake.
Yadara: Also thanks for being my sister's friend.
[alina smiles]
Alina: It's no problem.
Alina: Also, do you want to go somewhere?.
Yadara: sure why not, i guess it won't hurt to get to know one of narimos friends.
[alina points at a cafe]
Alina: We should go there and eat.
Yadara: ok.
[yadara and alina walk to the cafe]
Yadara: So how long have you and narimo been friends?.
Alina: It was probably 5 years.
Yadara: I guess she never told me about you because she's never had a friend for over 6 months.
[alina looks at yadara surprised]
Alina: I guess she didn't, but why did she keep me hidden from you?.
Yadara: I'm not sure, but she was always quite secretive about her friends.
Alina: yeah.
[yadara and alina arrive at the cafe]
Yadara: Well, we're here.
Alina: Alright, we should get a coffee or something.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: sure.
[after sometime alina and yadara walk outside the cafe]
Alina: i had fun.
Yadara: I did too. It's good to get to know some of narimos friends.
Alina: yeah.
[alina points at a building]
Alina: Hey, do you want to watch the night sky from there?.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: Sure why not, the sky is always beautiful at night.
[yadara crouches down]
Yadara: Come on, get on my back.
[alina gets on yadaras back and yadara uses his executioners strand to get on top of the building]
Yadara: Well, how's this for a view?.
[alina looks at the night sky]
Alina: It's beautiful.
Yadara: yeah.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: also.
[yadara holds out alina's anti strand badge]
Yadara: What's this?.
[alina looks at yadara in shock]
Alina: What is that?.
[yadara laughs]
Yadara: Well since you can't read, it says alina galya, russian and it says you're part of an international anti strand team.
[alina looks at yadara surprised]
Alina: where did you get that?.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: I took it from you when I walked past you earlier.
[yadara laughs]
Yadara: for a spy I thought you would be more observant.
[yadara grabs alina by the throat and slams her against the ground]
Yadara: And, I never knew you would try to lie about being my sister's friend.
Alina: [cough] I can explain.
[yadara smiles]
Yadara: I don't need your explanation, I need you to beg for mercy.
Alina: [cough] stop it.
[yadara stares at alina with empty eyes]
Yadara: [sigh] how could you lie about something like that, especially about my dead sister.
Alina: [cough] I'm sorry!!.
[yadara laughs]
Yadara: Tell her when you meet her.
[yadara picks alina up by the throat and hangs her over the building]
Yadara: beg, tell me why i shouldn't let go right now.
[alina looks at yadara in fear]
Alina: I didn't mean to lie about your sister, I just wanted to be near you without having to look over my shoulder.
[yadara laughs]
Yadara: your affection sickens me.
[yadara lets go of alina and alina falls to her death]
Yadara: say hey to narimo for me.
[yadara looks at the night sky]
Yadara: So the government made an international team to hunt me down huh.
Yadara: Well, I'll let them have everything I've got.
