The next day Miguel arrives at an office next to a warehouse, it was located on the edge of the city where many warehouses were located. When Miguel rang the doorbell, no one answered and the door was closed so he called his sister "Hello, Miguelito are you here?" Miguel kept looking around to see if there was another entrance "Yeah, I just got here but the door is closed" "ok hold on let me buzz you in" A buzzing noise is heard and he walks in, once inside he sees Lily and hangs up "so this is your guild office" Lily nods "come this way". They both walk into an office and she turns around and presses a red button on the wall "Alright we can talk in privet here, no one will be able to listen". Miguel looks impressed "Wow looks like your guild is doing pretty good to have a room like this" Lily shakes her head and sits down "Nah, these offices are rented from the A.R.A. for guilds that are starting, it's a little expensive but the security makes sure we don't get our equipment stolen" Miguel joins here at the desk "alright so what do you want to know". She looks at him with determination "Everything… this should be the only time you give so much information about your skills but I want to help you understand everything as soon as possible" Miguel takes out a piece of paper and hands it to her on it is written:

Name: Miguel

Profession: Necromancer

Skills:

o Soul reaping: "The Dead can leave a portion of their soul behind; with this skill, you can collect them." (The portion left behind is only excess power, which is why not all deaths leave souls behind and some may be stronger than others may)

Note: people with Overflow, Shaman Goblins. Normal goblins do not create souls

o Soul storage: 0/100 weak souls "a space in another dimension where you can keep souls."

o Undead summon: "From the remains of the dead you can place a soul into it and reanimate it, the undead will then serve you" (exceptional undead may develop higher intelligence) (Undead summons take on the appearance of the corpse and the damage, is healed)

o Undead servants: 3/10 "When not needed they sleep in another dimension where your undead await your summon, the dimension can heal the summons gradually when wounded"

Note: "Rocky" level 8 (skill: Howl), Goblin level 1, Goblin Shaman level 3 (skill: Rock bullet)

o Name granting (gives a servant a name, granting them the ability to grow stronger along with the master)

Note: when used with Rocky I passed out for 2 days.

Lily looked at the paper in disbelief "What was the point of me telling you not to talk about Your skills if you were going to write all this down on a piece of paper" She then looks at Miguel and gets embarrassed "I guess your right but what the point of all this secrecy" Lily sighs "rookies usually make that mistake, but think about it. what if I wanted to hurt you, having this paper tells me that you can parently have a max of 10 servants but you only have 3 and you seem to be limited in the amount of servants you can create by the number of souls you have, but normal goblins don't make souls." She looks him in the eyes "I would only have to corner you in an f rank dungeon while your 3 servants are busy fighting, or even easier id just have to wait until you name a servant to kill you without breaking a sweat" Miguel opens his eyes wide but then thinks for a moment "is being an awakened really this dangerous?" Lily felt worried for her brother, she hoped that he wouldn't have to worry about these things, but she knew that getting stronger didn't mean you were safer "people didn't get nicer when they awakened they only got stronger, but there isn't any real policing force to stop the awakened from doing what they want, the association does what it can but unless there is concrete evidence they won't do anything because arresting an awakened or group of awakened could cause a battle if they resist. F to D rank isn't much of a problem but C or B rand onwards can become very difficult to subdue an awakened. The guilds at keeping each other in check in a dance of a real policing force, but this means only the strong guilds have any real say on what's allowed and what's not outside of dungeons, inside of dungeons however, there's no one to enforce any rules" Miguel realized that he hadn't understood what he had stepped into, taking a moment to let it sink in he doesn't say a word "but, you have me so don't worry too much, right now I'm more interested in how you know so much about your skills, usually it takes year's to understand" Miguel seemed confused as well "obviously it's in the menu" Lily straightened up and looked surprised "what menu?" Miguel called out loud the menu then pointed at it "this one, doesn't everyone have one?" Lily stared blankly at where her little brother pointed "what are you talking about, there's nothing there and I've met a lot of awakened and never heard about a menu".

Miguel's eyes widened and looked at the menu screen that was hovering in front of him "I thought people either were used to seeing them or just didn't notice it. I never thought it would be a skill" Miguel finally understood why he was having success as a necromancer while others failed. The menu screen had given him so much information about the skills that he was even able to get 3 servants while online people reported it being a trash profession. Without the menu, he wouldn't have known when he got a soul or if he had any, without the menu he wouldn't know that summoning required souls, if someone managed to summon an undead they wouldn't know of the servant storage dimension. "are you telling me there's a menu only you can see?" Lily felt it was difficult to believe, Miguel nods "Usually it takes a long time to understand your skills and even longer to master them without proper understanding if you have a skill that explains your skills it's basically a cheat that no one else has."Lily became worried again "can you call out and control the menu without speaking?" Miguel attempts it and it worked "yeah I can" Lily looks Miguel in the eyes "this is the last time you say it out loud, got it?... This menu of yours, you should explore it properly" She looked at the paper again and pointed at the servants' levels on the paper "What does this mean, are your servants getting stronger? Is the menu showing you how strong? Does it assign you a level, does it give any more information?" Miguel "Yes, yes and I haven't checked but I guess I can try it now".

Miguel looks at the screen and touches his name suddenly a second screen pops up:

Dexterity: 1.9

"looks like it worked but I'm only level 1 and my stats don't look too impressive, but it's already at 98% though, guess I'm about to level up" Lily sits back in her chair amazed at what was happening, she noticed that Miguel was telling the truth "awakened people have noticed that they get stronger, but there's no way to actually measure it, but your telling me that you can see stats and levels" Lily laughs and smiles, then suddenly stops grabs his forearm "ill help you, but you can never speak about this to anyone, including myself, the only time we talk about it is if I call you by what grandpa used to call us, do you remember it?" Miguel just nods his head.

Lily smiles at Miguel and stands up "The guild leader isn't here today so accepting you into the guild will have to wait, but let's go borrow some starter equipment, in the meantime so we can go to a D-rank dungeon. I want to see your skills and where better than a dungeon" Miguel followers her out.

They arrive at an armory and Lily grabs equipment and throws it at Miguel one piece at a time, Miguel caught the items and held on to them. Once she stops, she pushes him into a changing room while she waits outside "Put that on, it's made from C rank resources so the D rank dungeon should be easier with this on.

Miguel comes out wearing a leather half-sleeve jacket with a hood and a face mask that covered the nose and mouth, it looked simple and was surprisingly light. The arm and shin guards protected the extremities and joints which were also light but more amazingly they didn't limit movement at all. Lily holds up boots and tosses them had him "Size 12, right?" Miguel catches them and puts them on. "this equipment is amazing, I barely feel I have anything on" Lily smiles at him "The leather is from C-rank monsters, it's used for low-level members, to help them keep up with the rest of the party while we're in a dungeon" Miguel looked at the status screen:

"holy shit! This makes my sta..." Lily looked at him angrily knowing he was about to say something about the menu, by the way, he stared at nothing so intently. "normally people that use this armor are rich kids or official guild members that borrow them" Miguel gets a little worried "so that means these are very expensive..." she just looks at him and doesn't say anything for a moment "next is weapons, why don't we try a short sword" she turns around and starts searching for weapons.

Miguel was kind of nervous wearing that equipment and wanted to take it off but didn't want to go against his sister "I went into the F rank dungeon the other day and didn't need any of this stuff, why not just..." Lily interrupts him "Calm down it's not like you're keeping it, we are just borrowing it, anyway this is Chance's old stuff, he won't mind" Miguel thought this was strange, he didn't know how expensive this equipment was, but, to not mind someone is using your equipment didn't sound right "who is Chance? And why wouldn't he mind?" Lily just kept looking for a good sword when she pulls out a shield and a bat and hands them to him "Don't worry, Chance is the guild leader and he already knew I was going to take you to a dungeon so he won't mind, stop worrying about that. It's not like anyone is going to know".

suddenly the door opens and surprises Lily "Hey Lily, what are you doing here?"
