★ Prompt / Track: # 6 Suits, Donna / Harvey, Was he really doing it? Was she really going to him? God, that night could only be crazier than that. Donna already regretted it, but she was now at Harvey's door. By Maura L. Cohen

Donna was already at her station, she frantically pressed the keys on the computer and then shortly after she stopped to reread the email and continued, she didn't need to look up from what she was doing, she knew that Harvey was getting approaching.

"Hi Harvey," she greeted him calmly, with her head still down and her hands frantic and, when he glanced at her, she knew she had to stop.

"How ...", but she could not finish the sentence for the amazement to see that smile on her face and that face of her that now in the last evenings of her accompanied her sleep.

"How can I do? Harvey we have known each other for ten years, I have learned and I know so much about you that you would be surprised to discover the amount of things a secretary learns during her job "and, having said that she stood up, challenged him to say otherwise and, as he passed the briefcase from hand to hand, she arranged some documents and followed him into the office.

He shook his head, he tried but he couldn't understand her and although he tried, it was hard not to wonder, but he put aside those thoughts that were surfacing and set his eyes on her.

Donna came up in her dark suit, with the skirt that left her legs uncovered, that shirt that wrapped around her waist, and that small neckline that showed the shapes of her breasts and ... she had to linger too much on her body because she cleared his throat.

"Have you seen anything that might interest you?" she asked amused when I reached out and handed him the folder of documents, but it was too late to realize that she had said it out loud.

Harvey smiled, but that phrase was repeated several times in her mind, the sound of her voice as she said it and her lips curling in amusement were for him ...

"Stop thinking about her naked or, in bed with you or, in any other way that wasn't professional" he admonished himself, her voice was harsh, but even the inner part of him knew it was a lost war from the start. .

"Well, I have to say that if you continue to dress like this I ..." and left that statement halfway, winked in his direction and smiled, but while doing so his eyes lit up too, which not far from him also happened to Donna.

"Oh, Specter, like I've never seen a woman in a business suit or a woman in general," she teased, shrugging and pretending nothing happened.

"I shouldn't be saying it, we both know I've seen women, but that's not what I meant"

He turned to her, eyed her from head to toe and returned to her, focusing his gaze on her flushed face and lips that he was nibbling.

"Should I be flattered then?"

"It's up to you," Harvey said with a grin, dropped his arms to his sides and then reached into his pocket.

Was he really giving her that power? He couldn't believe it, he didn't usually play these games with her, not after the unspoken rules they had exchanged years and years before her, yet seeing her there, standing in front of him unleashed a mixture of excitement and fun in him.

"Don't play this game, not like Harvey because you're going to get burned," Donna warned him, taking steps and approaching him, a gesture that didn't go unnoticed as he stepped back a few inches.

"Are you sure I'm playing?" he asked her with a lopsided smile raising her eyebrows and challenging her, just enough to make that moment electrifying.

"We both know well that I know you better than yourself and, there is nothing that Harvey Specter says without having the awareness and above all the certainty of having the reins of situations" and, at those words she shortened the distance again, her heart was about to go crazy, hands were trembling to want to caress her face, just for the sake of seeing her reaction.

Oh, no, there would be no need for it because the man's expression changed, the confidence he had shown before wavered, his eyes lit by the challenge became fire and that crooked smile he kept on his lips flickered into a smile surprised.

"But in our situation you know it well, as I know that I am in charge," she confessed in a clear voice, pronouncing those words and taking steps to return to her position.

That conversation was taking too long and pushing them into a minefield where neither of them really wanted to be.

Harvey recovered from his moment of shock, he couldn't believe that the woman was provoking him so shamelessly, let alone that he was willing to risk so much to win.

"Do not even dare to think about doing it, Harvey Reginal Specter, just get it out of your head" his ego began loudly, pressing to be heard, but he had already lost his temper when Donna's scent had reached his nostril, when those dreams prevented him from sleeping and when he saw her in front of him, grinning, beautiful and amused by that dialogue he thought he had won.

Donna was already walking towards the door, she didn't even turn to see what he was doing because she pictured him at his desk, sitting to review the documents she had left him. Harvey reached her in a few strides, she tensed when she felt her hand on her arm that stopped her, he was behind her but her bravado at that moment faded and she could not turn around.

The two had started a game that neither of them would have won, but would have ended up getting burned, but Harvey, taken by adrenaline, shortened the distance even further.

Donna smelled his perfume, that strong and delicate fragrance at the same time flooding her nostrils, still causing her to feel very dizzy like being a few steps away from her, her shoulders slammed against Harvey's muscular chest and the arm on which he c 'was still resting his hand seemed to catch fire.

Shivers went through their bodies, the wheezing breaths were showing when the closeness with the other was not indifference and how much the bravado they showed was reducing to a handful of ashes if one would have been so close to the other.

Harvey leaned towards her ear giving Donna even more the opportunity to smell her fragrance, to push her chest against his shoulders and when a soft sigh from her touched her ear, she she felt lost.

"Come to me tonight," he whispered slowly, unperturbed, clearly articulating her words, showing her that he was the one who had the reins of her, and before turning around and everyone resuming their work she acted on impulse.

She turned, just enough to search her eyes, to see if she was lying, if she was making fun of her but what she saw shocked her more than she would ever admit.

The rule that they had both signed ten years ago flashed into her mind, she was about to utter those words when her glare told him not to, it no longer served as a limit, it had served her purpose for too long. She turned on her heels and walked back to her station, while her shivers still tormented her body, her heart was beating at a fast pace and she shuddered at those words.

Was she really doing it? Was she really going to him? God, that night could only be crazier than that. Donna already regretted it, but she was now at Harvey's door.

She seemed to think about it, she didn't want to mess it up and usually she was the one who put the brakes on him, but tonight for some bizarre idea, every part of her body was telling her to stop thinking too much.

They had been friends and colleagues for so long that now they did not know how to behave, the same fear gripped Harvey, he cursed himself for that proposal for putting everything at risk, despite this a smile curled on his lips.

The shiver that ran down his back warned him that Donna was behind the door, he couldn't believe it and didn't understand how it could be true, but when he opened it, it was he, where he found her.

And what would happen?

One could only imagine, but the truth resided in the depths of their hearts and the only architects of their life and their destiny were they. Uncertainty reigned, the tension would be released, yet one thing was certain ... after that evening everything would change.
