My body was covered in goosebumps as fear consumed me. My eyes twitched as I stood before the demon king Asmodeus

I have always known the danger that demons pose to humans, and now I find myself in a situation I have never anticipated.

I mean, never could I have imagined that I'll one day be entangled between two demons and now this one.

"Please," my voice trembled as I pleaded with him. "I don't want any part in your world. Just let me go."

Asmodeus chuckled, a sound that sends shivers down my spine. "Oh, but Marissa, you underestimate your importance," he came closer to me. "You see, there is something within you that I need. Something that only you possess."

I took a step back, my mind racing with fear and confusion.

I have always been an ordinary woman, living a quiet life. How could I possibly hold anything of value to a powerful demon like Asmodeus.
