Chapter 50 : Shadowguard’s New Generation

This was the dawn of a new age for Shadowguard. I was excited to bring change to my land and to my people. But I was also nervous, terrified of the new threats I was welcoming. It was hard to go against hundreds of years worth of tradition and wisdom. I had to have faith that this would be for the best. It had no choice but to be, there was no going back.
I had to brace myself for the shift in opinion throughout the region. It was one thing when Shadowguard was full of cannibals and ogres, it’s another when the truth comes to light.
Shadowguard is a land of halflings, witches, and other magical folks, not just shifters. It was a lot of new thinking that even the most progressive person would struggle to embrace. Shifters were known for their stubborn adherence to tradition.
