Philip was startled after Lycan mentioned Amanda's name, and more than that they also knew about Katherine's identity and where about, Philip thought 'How did they know? What connection did they have with Amanda? Is she still alive?' These thoughts run in his mind for a while. It looks like he's petrified, he didn't move a single muscle he just stands in front of a Lycan expressionless.

"What happened to you, so scared in the presence of a higher creature are you? If you were just like any other human, I would have devoured you already but I have to complete my task, the pack is waiting for my delivery. I must get the diary and the chosen one or Drake will strip me into pieces. Don't worry the Child will not be harmed..... well, not so much hahaha..." Bernard the Lycan taunted Philip.
