Alpha Aston apologized to Chad for hitting him and they both talked like old times. He asked him if there had been any news or attack from the vampire and Chad replied that they haven't heard anything from them and there weren't any recent attacks on the werewolves.
They talked into the night until Farrah came to call him for dinner.
Chad left immediately and he went with her to the dining room. He pulled out a chair and sat down, she dished out his food for him and he also insisted she eats with him. She didn't bother arguing because she knew she couldn't win and sat with him and ate with him.
After eating he went back to his chambers, got into his bed, and waited for Violet to bring his coffee.
He glanced at his wall clock and gasped at how far the time had gone and also because there wasn't any sign of his coffee.
It was so surprising to him, she has never skipped his coffee for no reason.
