CHAPTER 24 & 25

Damon and Cassie got to Damon's parents house and as his mum saw them she quickly went to hug them.

They hug her back and they all went to sit down.

Not long after, his father came down

"How are you my boy" he said as soon as he saw them.

"Dad stop calling me that, I am not a kid anymore I am a grown up man" Damon said.

"No matter how grown you are, you are still my son" he said and face Cassie.

"How are you darling?"

"I am fine sir" she said bowing.

After a while they all left for the dinning and as they were eating Damon's mum told him everything about how and why she made Cassie work in his company.

"Oh, so you both planned it" he said and face Cassie feigning annoyance.

"Well I am glad your plan work,if not I wouldn't have such a beauty in my life" he said and Cassie blush.

He peck her in her cheek and she smiled.

"Honey, should we go do our own also?" Damon's dad whispered to his mum.

"Pervert" she said hitting his chest and he began laughing.

After a while they both left and went back to Damon's place.

Richard and Olivia also began dating and they are also enjoying themselves.

AT A WAREHOUSE

A man was sitted on a chair with his face turned.

"Sky" he called and another young man appeared

"Yes boss" he said.

"I want you to go to Damon's place and then you wait till they get out then you will have to shoot his girlfriend in his arm and then come back, you don't have to kill her just shoot her in her arm"

"Okay boss" he replied

"You will have to do that tomorrow when they are going out or you go to his company to do it"

"And you Scorpion, you will just have to get into their home as their bodyguard, because I know Damon will have to protect his girlfriend" he said referring to another guy

"Okay boss", the young man called Scorpion replied.

BACK IN DAMON'S PLACE

Cassie and Damon decided to take the day off at work for that day.

The next day they both woke up and dress for work, they got into their car and drove off to work.

They both got to work after some minutes and they were about entering into the company when someone suddenly shoot Cassie in her arm and she fell down weakly.

Damon became afraid and ran to check who shot her but the person was gone.

He carry her in a bridal style and took her to the car and he drove to the hospital.

He got to the hospital and call the doctor then some nurses rush out and carry her to a ward.

The doctor came after and began treating her.

"Who could have done that, I have no grudges against anyone, please be safe for me Cassie" he said in fear.

After a while the doctor came out and he rush to him.

"Doctor how is she?"

"It is nothing serious, the bullet hit her arm and I have removed it, she will wake up soon" the doctor said

"Thank God she is okay" he said in relief.

AT THE WAREHOUSE

The young man got to the warehouse and went to his boss.

"It is fine boss" he said when he get to him.

"Good job, now it is your turn Scorpion, we have to wait till he wants to hire a bodyguard then you will go and apply for it, when you are employed make sure you give me very bit of information there"

"Yes boss" Scorpion replied.

Damon went into Cassie's ward and he sat down beside her.

"Wake up soon my love" he said holding her hand and peck her forehead.

Then he saw something that shocked him.

CHAPTER 26 & 27

After sometimes Cassie woke up and as Damon saw her awake he went to her.

"Damon" she called and Damon held her hand helping her to sit up.

"Sorry darling" he said to her.

"Are you okay now?"

"Yes, I am okay, just feeling pain in my arm" she replied.

"Who could have want you dead?, I think I will have to hire a bodyguard to watch you" he said.

Just then the doctor came in

"How are you doing now?" He asked Cassie.

"I am okay" she said and the doctor gave her some drugs to use.

"She may give home now since she is okay but she will have to take a lot of rest for her arm to completely heal" he said

"Okay doctor, thanks"

Then Cassie was discharged and they both went back home.

They got home and Damon got out and went to Cassie's place and wanted to carry her.

"Don't worry, I can walk on my own" she said.

"No, I won't accept that" he said and carry her in a bridal style name went inside.

He drop her on the couch and went into his room and he placed a call to Richard and told him what happened and also tell him to help him find a bodyguard for Cassie.

As Richard heard this he told Olivia and they both went to Damon's place.

When they got there they went in and saw them, then they rush to them.

"How did this happen to her?" Olivia asked and Damon explained everything to them.

"Oh who could have done that?" Richard asked.

"Well I don't know who could have done such to her"

"Now we have to be very careful, she will need someone to secure her from now on" Richard said and Damon agreed with him.

"I agree with you, please help me get a good guy to be here bodyguard"

"Sure, I will do that" Richard said and they began discussing some other things.

AT THE WAREHOUSE

The man heard of this and told Scorpio to get ready that he will soon go there to work.

Richard posted it online that a bodyguard is needed and the man saw this and show it to Scorpion.

"It is time to go for the job before anyone else go there" the man said and Scorpion nodded.

A house was rented for Scorpion close to Damon's house and he began living there.

AFTER TWO DAYS

Scorpion woke up and dress up in a suit with black shiny shoe and he went to Damon's house.

He got there and told the security man what he came for and he let him in.

He directed him into the house and went to call his boss in his room.

After some minutes, Damon came downstairs and Scorpion stood up to greet him.

"How may I help you?" He asked and Scorpion replied him.

"My name is Dave Martins, I came for the job of the bodyguard you requested for" he said

"Are you sure you can do this job?"

"Yes, I can" Dave replied.

"Okay, what you have to do for me now is to make sure you protect my girlfriend well, no harm must come over here" Damon said

"No problem sir"

"And also you will be driving her around, is that okay with you?" Damon asked and he replied

"Yes sir"

"Okay your work has begin" Damon said and he showed him Cassie who he will be protecting and he nodded and he began work immediately.

Note: Scorpion is also Dave, it is the fake name he gave to himself so as not to confuse you all.
