Some months later...

They say that traitor Arca is still out there on the loose you know a male beast race person said

"Shocking still that a weakling like her would become a traitor like that. Still, wonder what happened to everyone from her hometown though" a second male beast person said.

The two then continued talking as in the last few months the news around Nuna was that Arca of the famed Rotune group had gone traitor. That she had betrayed her own kind by raiding her hometown and then killing the one that picked her for to join Rotune in the first place. It was strange that there were no bodies left behind as no one ever found the bodies of anyone other than one that had selected her to become a part of the Rotune group in the first place.

"It's interesting how the bounty on her head is so high given that she is not all the strong as long as you avoid fighting on her term. Heard she is even weak to killing intent. Just display it properly and she was not able to move properly for a while" the first beast race person said

Seriously no wonder she was considered part of the weakling duo of the Rotune group the second one said

Though another rumor is that those that have claimed to have acquired her head were sentenced for false claims. They insist that the head they turned in was real yet she is seen clearly alive and well showing otherwise the first states.

Maybe we should go after that weakling as taking her head should not be that hard. A little harder than that other weakling that was part of the group, you know that worthless human the second says laughing

Just then the head of Arca comes rolling at their feet. Her vacant seemingly dead eyes stare at them as her head comes to a full stop upon hitting their feet. From above them, Arca's body comes crashing down behind them. Causing the second beast man to trip over her head as the first one goes to look over her body.

Did she always wear mage robes like this as she is a beast race member like us right he asked

They say that she started wearing them the one she raided her home and killed its governor, as they were the person that selected her for the Rotune group the second beast man said.

Just then startling both of them Arca's body stood up as it dust itself off with the sleeves of her mage robe. Which was long enough that it covered her hands from view.

Her body then gestured to her head which was still lying on the ground in front of it. Of course, this scared the crap out of the two beast men who did not know how to react to a wanted traitor's headless body offering up its own head to them all of a sudden.

Arca's tilted her neck and placed a finger where her mouth would have been if her head was still on her shoulders. Seemingly confused scaring the poor two guys even more so than before.

Strange I thought you both said taking my head would be easy so there it is. Go ahead and take it as if you can not do something this simple when I literally hand it to you on a silver plate. Then never claim my master's head would be easier her voice said starting calm but then becoming more enraged and even unhinged by the end.

Two were later found outside of their governor's office their clothes in complete tatters showing that the clearing went through something. However, there was not a single scratch on their bodies at all. Their bodies were in perfect condition even better than when they woke up that morning. Anything that had been bothering them was fixed and/or cured. However, their minds were a different story as they were shattered beyond repair without any hope of them recovering and/or discovering who or what did this to them.

The governor however knew what caused it and it scared them to their core as they heard one of the broken beast men clutching a severed head proclaiming the same thing over and over again

'But why I picked it up'

The governor did not know how or why but she went missing for a few weeks and when she returned she was not the same Arca as before. She proclaim that her name was Arca but she looked and acted nothing like she had before she went missing. It was like night and day and she went from being a joke to the waking nightmare that those in power were actively trying to figure out what caused her to become like this as one look into her eyes. From there it was clear that she was no longer all there mentally as her eyes were dead and vacant. It did not matter what expression she would make or what things she would say. They all rang hollowed given her eyes they never changed. The times she seem to actually react beyond the front was when her past connection to the human member of Rotune was brought up.

Bringing that up would be beyond problematic as the governor that region over her home region tried that and they found the body alive and well but their mind was nowhere to be found.
